Being a new seller on fiverr - which I've started as sort of an experiment having gotten completely fed up with other sites where I've bid on various jobs only to garner no interest whatsoever - I was more than interested to read Nick Vulich's book, "Freaking Idiots Guide to Selling on fiverr."He begins by pointing out that jobs on fiverr can (and do!) incorporate the most insane offerings, from a middle-aged man willing to sing Happy Birthday dressed as a mouse, to a woman who offers to focus a five-minute meditation on your "financial abundance." Both for five dollars. While this might seem a bit ridiculous, the point he makes is that you can literally offer just about anything you want and just by thinking creatively you may come up with a gig that's a big hit.Mr. Vulich literally walks you through the process of selling on fiverr step-by-step, with advice about how to come up with a good username, things to consider when writing your gig description, selecting keywords, and using pictures and videos effectively, among other things.I was most interested in knowing about how to level up on fiverr so that I could offer gig extras and potentially raise the amount I bring in per gig. I had looked for this information online and could find nothing to explain this part of the system to me, so I was happy to find out that this had been included. Thankfully, it's a very straightforward process to move up levels so I can now stop stressing about it.Mr. Vulich also offers a list of 29 different types of gigs that do reasonably well on fiverr as a start to get your mind considering different gigs you can offer if you're considering using fiverr as a potential way to bring in income.I did feel there were some formatting choices that could be changed to create a more effective, overall presentation and the writing could have been a bit tighter, and while they didn't detract much from the information being offered, it was enough to distract me on occasion - that is the only reason for the 4-star review. All the basics of using fiverr as a means of extra income were covered and this book will be exceptionally helpful to the newbies of the bunch.

I think it’s more of a 3 star book, content-wise, but I’ll give it an extra star because I got it for free. It’s a really short, simple read. I think it took me less than an hour to read it. The content is pretty straight-forward. Really, nothing you couldn’t find with an internet search.I don’t have a Fiverr, but I was curious about the techniques of sellers that use it. There were some good links to current (?) Fiverr subscribers, and there were some interesting ideas to get your own Fiverr started. Really, what I took away from it was that I basically need to come up with an idea that no one else has thought of. That is, if I ever go into Fiverr. It’s a market of over-saturation, so if you have the same products as everyone else, you have to be a standout in other ways. Outstanding turn around, outstanding, extras.All in all, a book well worth the price tag, especially if you’re just curious about the internal workings of Fiverr.

I recently started a Fiverr account with the intent being to make a little cash on the side. I'll admit, I was fairly quickly overwhelmed and left the website before creating a profile.This book was offered for free and I took advantage of it. It is short. Only 68 pages long. But, when you think about it, even at $3.99 if it helps clarify what type of services you want to offer and helps you land your first gig it easily pays for itself.I learned some things that I didn't know while reading this. For instance, I didn't know that you have to complete a certain number of "gigs" before you can add additional aspects to your services (which in turn allow you to add extra gigs and earn more money). That's something to keep in mind going into it. And there are other things including what "identity" you use that are worth considering beforehand.Overall, I found the advice to be solid and well organized. I recommend this book especially for those who don't know much about Fiverr.

Nick Vulich's Freaking Idiot's Guide to Selling on Fiverr is not the first Fiverr book I've read but has some unique qualities that have definitely made it worth the purchase. One example is a basic overview of the website itself, including its founders, ratings and revenue. This imparts confidence in the credibility of a website that makes such promising claims.Another difference is the tone in which the author writes. I found it to be candid and even funny, which is more engaging than a textbook style eBook. His tone truly matches Fiverr's overall theme, which makes a lot of sense. Fiverr is not your typical money-making website. It's fun, though professional, and has a seller/buyer forum that is open and friendly. Vulrich really hit the nail on the head with this approach.I began selling on Fiverr after reading an eBook similar to this one. I have been doing moderately well but am inspired by his tips. He has several ideas that I wouldn't have thought of on my own, including gig suggestions, ways to choose keywords and recommendations on using Fiverr's features. Another thing that is totally different is that he adds actual links to 50 gigs that are doing consistently well. Very inspiring!I would highly suggest buying this book even if you have previously bought others. I can't wait to start putting these tips into practice!

If you've been on Fivver for awhile pass on this one because you already know this stuff.But if you are brand new to the Fiverr world then this little book will give you some great ideas on how to start actually making some cash. None of it was new to me but it runs you through the basics from signing up to creating your first gig (and there is some great advice on gig creation). It also lets you know what are the most popular gigs on Fiverr and how you can take those ideas and create your own ideas.I did like this book and I think that anyone who is just learning how to use Fiverr can benefit from it.
