Dead Sexy Docs
I'll make this review as succinct as I can: these are the Docs you want.If you're wanting to 'autumn' up your footwear a bit and think the classic 1460s are a little too basic for you, grab these Gabions. I got them in the 'whiskey' (brown) colorway and I adore the hell out of them.Quick about me: flat feet, weak left ankle, oftentimes bad knees, and frequent shin splints when I walk. I didn't think these boots would replace ANYTHING footwear related; they'd be fun to wear standing in a field for picking pumpkins with the family or something, but I'd always go back to my Brooks Adrenalines for actual walking and working.Nope...not yet. These are my first Doc Martens and I think that if all the rest of the boots in the line feel like this, I have a new favorite brand. I do have some Dr. Scholls orthotics in them (the ones you get from the flat foot pressure machine at your grocery store), but that's all I've had to do to them.I lace mine to the first hooks and wear them outside my jeans. I love the somewhat rustic, yet not country or blue-collar look of these boots. I'm a city guy. I'll be wearing them to coffee festivals and Thanksgiving dinner with the family this year. They have a moisture-absorbing lining so my feet are always dry and just right temperature wise. I wear them with crew-height socks.Break-ins for Docs are a pain I read; not so with these. The leather is thick, yet supple and soft. I love the Air Wair soles; they do truly bounce a bit.I've used some Wonder Balsam on them and they look fantastic. The Balsam darkens the leather maybe 5-10% to maybe a baseball glove-colored leather. All in all, buy them for comfort, classic style, for the brand and look, and for the quality that will last.

Fits right and looks good and might sound squeaky.
The boot fits well. I'm used to hiking shoes normally. One problem. Mine squeaked horribly so returned them and got a pair from ZAPPOS. The leather squeaks but not like where the leather and sole meet.Great color, style, fit. Two eyelet hooks at the top of the laces. I use only the bottom hook.I bought a brown pair also, so even the squeaks didnt stop me from getting another pair.Definitely worth having. Any Doc Marten fan will tell you that these are great because they are Dr. Martens.I think people new to the brand will like these boots. Not sure I'd use them in the field as a work boot, but what do I know? I work inside at a desk.I have done outdoor work. Maybe I'd wear them in the summers but not where there are cold winters.A great buy.

Not too bad, work Docs
These work for me when I got hired for a pest control company out in AZ, they said just get comfortable shoes. Until day one of training and my trainer said you might want to get some boots. Being naive I asked why and he said rattlesnakes. Then it donned on me I'm working in the desert there is bound to be rattlesnakes. Haven't seen one yet other than some baby snakes trapped in glue traps and a tarantula in a rain bait container. Glad I got them because they are comfortable as he'll. I have other versions of Docs, more dressy black ones and the tend to hurt where the upper portion hits my calf. But these are amazing with their bouncing soles my feet don't hurt after 9 hours. it's only been a week we will see how well they stand up to the Arizona heat.

Great boot for work/everyday use
Been wearing Docs for the past 8 or 9 years, they are the only shoes/boots that have lasted for me and by that I mean I get about 2 to 3 years of use before the sole is worn down. I wear these everyday for work about 10 to 12 hours a day. I work in the restaurant industry and I'm in and out of multiple kitchens through out the day as well as I do a lot of driving (about 36k a year). The non slip of these are fantastic as been my experience with previous Docs and I never feel like I'm going to fall/slip on wet/greasy floors. The only issues I have had with these boots in particular are the metal clasps (if that's what they are called) at the top for the laces and there is squeak when walking. The clasps seem to stick out a little and sometimes will catch on the inside collar of my pant leg opening or they have gotten caught on the rungs of a latter. I have crimped them down slightly with pliers and they seem to be better (for now). The Squeak was coming from the tongue rubbing. I put a dap of olive oil on the tongue where it was rubbing and the squeak went way.

Not Doc’s best
I really like Docs and I usually have no issues with them. These boots kind of let me down. Not the most comfortable pair of Docs but the worst thing about them is the squeaking!!! I have to apply olive oil to the tongue every few days to prevent this. Oh well I’ll keep wearing them because I’m a Doc loyalist!!

Dr. Martens Gabion Nice Boots!
Dr. MARTENS is my favorite boot brand. Gabion is a general duty work boot with good padding and comfortable. I recommend conditioning the leather prior to wearing. Decently priced for a good work boot! Love Doc Martens!

Comfortable out of the box
This is my second pair of Gabions, and as a Home Inspector in SWFL, I have found these to hold up the best, and are the most comfortable. Super cushioned sole. No troubles using a custom orthotic. These are worth the money.

Perfect
My husband is thrilled with his boots! The fit is perfect, just as he expected. There's a breaking in period, also as as he expected, but these boots will last him a good long time.

Excelente marca y producto

Good quality casual boots.
I got my package today and my boots showed up with no problems, and because of the manufacturer being Doc Martens I already knew these would be quality made and nice looking as well, and the fit? perfect! this is my 3rd pair of boots from Dr. Martens and they've never let me down, nor do I expect these to do any different!

Suerte.
