This product works well, with or without the electric shock. It stops my dog from barking except under the most intense excitation. The internal battery holds its charge so well that I can can use it every day and only have to charge it every couple weeks... and it charges fast, in just a few hours connected to my PC's USB3 jack!The problem I have with it is, every time the dog triggers the collar, it beeps, vibrates, and shocks (assuming all 3 features are turned on). It would make more sense to me as a conditional progression. For example, the dog barks, it beeps. If the dog is still barking 2 seconds later, then vibrate. If the dog is still barking 2 seconds after that, then shock. Unfortunately, this collar doesn't allow the dog to avoid shock by silencing himself quickly. This is also problematic for the fact that occasional false triggers happen, and it's not right for the dog to get shocked in that circumstance.

So I had tried everything to get my 7 month old 80 pound German shepherd rescue to stop whining and barking when outside or in his crate. This is the only color that I found really helped. I put the vibration the beep and the shock on. After a couple weeks I was able to have it only on vibration and beep.. Now it's been about 2 months and he is durachka cli better behaved I still have to put it on every once in a while but I think I might have gone insane if it were not for this collar. My only complaint is sometimes when he got excited and would be scurrying around in his kennel when I was about to let him out it would trigger the sensor. I would feel really badd and take the collar off of him and reward him with treats

Got this for our bloodhound who cannot resist barking at anything remotely resembling another living creature within a 10 mile radius. Just kidding but no really...and his baying is loud and the sound carries far. I didn’t want a collar that hurts him so I like the beep and vibrate on this collar. We only put it on when he goes outside and he’s not out there for any longer than an hour at most at a time. I can see how the metal sensors would irritate the skin of left on too long. Bat being said we did forget to take it off one night and he slept in the thing but didn’t appear to bother him. It has curbed his barking habit immediately. He actually knows just how much noise he can make without setting it off. He can growl but that’s it, which is good because you want your dog to be able to give a warning and not just go crazy or bite someone from fear without being able to growl a warning. When he gets super excited about a passerby he has barked twice even though the collar goes off. He can’t resist sometimes but it’s never more than 2 barks. We are very satisfied with the product, and it seems to have actually reduced the dogs anxiety (and ours because the baying was really loud and annoying before). I wanted something that would condition him without making him more fearful and this does that for us. Although positive conditioning would be ideal it didn’t seem to work for the barking. We had to do something immediately to remedy the barking because a neighbor had complained to animal control. We didn’t want to be “that neighbor” so I’m so glad we’ve found a solution.

Previously I tried the Ultra Sound device and it worked for two days. After that he just ignored it.This Collar works great. It came in a very nice, minimum size package. The quality of the finish is excellent. Light weight, easy to operate, easy to use. My dog is medium size, 35 lbs, labradoodle. Barks like mad when we leave the house and he is left behind. I had to try different settings, but I am currently using Sensitivity 4; Vibration 7; Shock 5. Seems to work fine for the past 2 - 3 weeks. Will see what happens in the future.

This was my first bark collar, so I'm not sure what is realistic. But overall it's decent. The user interface is insanely simple, but not explained well enough. Press each button (shock, vibrate, sound) to change the level. Cycle through numbers 0-7 to change the strength. 0 is of course off.The What I don't like is there is no warning. If your dog sets the collar off, it first beeps then immediately after vibrates. It would be ideal to beep first, then if the dog barks after, THEN vibrate, THEN shock.Not blast everything at once. I can live with this, i have to admit the collar did work very well to stop barking during the day.The biggest issue which I cannot live with is my dog has bad allergies. So when he coughs or sneezes, it sets the collar off. Again this is my first collar, so im not really sure if all collars are this sensitive, but unfortunately i cant have my dog being repremreprimanded automatically by sneezing.So I'd say if your dog doesnt have allergies, it may be a great collar for you! I unfortunately am returning.
