Warm and high quality
These boots are amazing! Just as a reference, I wear a size 9 in Van's and ordered a size 10. I am able to wear nice thick hiking socks and they fit great! I took these boots hiking in some pretty gnarly stuff this weekend and they were amazing! I trudged through 1 1/2 feet of snow, slid down crazy shale fields, over a boulder field etc and they were awesome! My feet stayed nice and warm all day too. I highly recommend these boots! I brushed them with a dry brush when I got home and they still look great!! I hiked all day and no blisters or hot spots. Very comfortable.

For a lesser known brand, so far so good!
According to other reviewers, you need to go larger. I decided to opt for my same old same old standby size. They are a little more narrow than I would like, but the fit is good now that I have stretched them out a bit. I can see where someone may want a larger size for extra pairs of socks, but I find my feet get warm once I start walking so I am good sticking to my regular size so the boot isn't loose while walking and snowshoeing. I like a nice secure fit and other than the shoelaces loosening as I walk, these have been very secure. The tops chafed a little for a few walks, but seem to have stopped now that they are broken in.They work with my snowshoes. I wasn't sure of the hardness of the foot area- some boots are squishy and snowshoes hurt. These feel fine and even though they aren't really made for snowshoes, I think will endure well enough to last more than one season.I have worn them in snow, slushy snow, and I think it was lightly raining one day. So far my feet have stayed dry. I can't say anything about the cold. I bought them recently and a lot of the colder weather has passed for the year. I am guessing that 30s is the coldest it has been since I received these, but it is possible it has been in the 20s once or twice. In other words, the arctic weather has already passed. These shipped to me straight from Xpeti and they shipped them right out so I got them very quickly (thanks Xpeti!).I have been looking at hiking boots and hadn't decided on this brand or a better known one. From what I have seen of this Xpeti pair, I feel safe that their hiking boots will be well made and will most likely purchase them.

Great ankle support
The first pair I ordered were 7 1/2 my size is 7 . Had to send them back and reordered size 8. So happy with the ankle support . Great balance . Not as warm as I thought. Great grip. I wear these for every day use. Good support for ankle and foot problems. So happy!

Great for snow
These boots are great for hiking in snow and ice. Great ankle support, decent width and loose enough for thick socks. My other boots were so heavy and wide. These feel more like shoes than boots.

Warm and dry!
Perfect for the price. Living in NH, we get all kinds of weather! I needed replacement boots near the end of the season but didnt want to spend a ton. These did the trick! I walk daily with my dog on an unpaved rail trail which has had snow, ice, mud and several inches of slush. We also tap maple trees and I spent 3 hours tromping through the orchard in single digit temps and 5" of snow. Warm, dry feet every time!

Amazing deal, very warm
I was a little nervous about blindly getting a pair of boots on the internet for winter hiking...but I trusted the reviews and I'm very happy with them! I did size up to leave room for thick warm socks. I initially just wore them around the house to test comfort and fit since returns have to be in new condition. Then today I finally got to take them on a test drive in the snow. The temp was 15° and I hiked 7 miles in about 6" snow and mild elevation changes. My feet stayed very warm and the snow melted right off the boot. They don't even look like I wore them today, much less hiked 7 miles! On the incline/decline I could feel a couple spots where my foot had friction on the heels and toes but that's prob bc I sized up and had a bit more wiggle room than normal. I don't plan to hike long distances or elevation in these, but they worked out great today and I'm very happy with them. Another score for the frugal hiker!!

Uncomfortable, low quality
I did not feel these boots were as described. They are not comfortable at all, extremely stiff, made things and don’t keep your feet warm. Quality seems very cheap. Would not recommend.

Decent
I bought these boots the 1st time that blizzard hit NY & yes they help me get around & are pretty warm but after wearing them just a couple of times they skweak with every step! So annoying. Also I saw on here that these boots are supposed to be good for some thing like 20 below.. that's bs my toes get cold when its in the 20s.. I was really hoping that since I was spending over $50 that I'd get something of good enough quality but I'm disappointed. There's a pretty good grip with these in the snow but not for the ice. They're better than sneakers though which was what I had in the house. Also, my feet haven't gotten wet & that's a definite plus. The fit is good too. I'm a 7 in women's & these fit well. So there are some pros but too many cons for me =/
