Very low quality Chinese 'stainless' steel. Useless after 1 1/2 MI summer seasons rusted clean through.Here it is on the way to the trash. Over $150 for this garbage.Pretty sure the original enameled one went 3+ years. Getting one of those for $35.

This is the second time I had to replace the heat plate for this BBQ in 15 years. The first time I replaced it with a part from from the manufacture. Now I am replacing it again.This one looks much more sturdier than the replacement from the manufacturer. The fit the BBQ perfectly and should last for years.
