H-2 Horizontal Log Planter, Medium, Oak

I didn't realize what material this is made of and I wish I had looked more closely. It feels like very, very, strong styrofoam. That's why it's so lightweight, which is good, but I worry about it getting damaged easily. So far it has been fine, weighed down by soil and a plant. There are cool plugs inside at the bottom, so you can remove them to have drainage holes or keep them in to stop drainage. I like this level of control. It looks really cool and I can't wait to see my black-eyed susans blooming in it.

Very attractive planters for a woodsy feel. Using at our mountain home. Kind of pricey so I hope they holdup well over the years.

My husband and I absolutely love these various planters. I'm making an indoor fountain area where our 80s style sunken bathtub is. Neither of us could get into it - let alone out of it while wet, and it was just taking up room and being a tripping hazard. I put an old fashioned hand pump fountain on an inverted large log planter and am filling the various other planters with growing plants to give the impression of a secluded forgotten watering hole. These planters are just what was needed and better than I hoped to find.

Very pleased. Look nice and realistic, especially with flowers in them (I bought two of the smaller size). Lightweight. A nice addition to my patio. A bit spendy, but glad I got them.

It looks so real. I love it. It is also a good planter with a built-in drainage hole. I placed it under the tree in front of my house. My neighbors surely noticed it and paid me quite some compliments.

I first saw this planter advertised in Birds & Blooms magazine and loved the looks of it. When I found it on Amazon, I decided to order it because it looked so real; that is because they use a real log for the mold. I was totally happy when I received the planter. Since I ordered the largest size, I planted two small hosta plants in it plus two periwinkles to drape over the side.

Nice planter but not as real looking as the birch one.

This planter looks like a real log. It is very light made out of some type of foam. Once you add dirt and a plant it works great. We are going to buy a few more sizes next spring.
