Good quality butterfly larva were healthy all turned into butterflies very pretty!! Kids loved to watch the larva make cocoons and then come out as butterflies. Great product for little kids all the way to adults. Packed well to not damage the caterpillars and delivered with care. Definitely get this this summer!!

Maybe this was my fault for not reading the fine print but I did not receive the cup of caterpillars with this kit. You get a voucher and then still have to pay $9 for shipping. The only reason I took off a star is because I had to order the cup of caterpillars separately and wait an additional week to receive my package.Despite that, my caterpillars are thriving and the kit comes with everything that you need. This is a very fun project to do with kids and they learn a lot . I like the little log it comes with to track everything.

These a the perfect item for a preschool age child. Watching them grow into full size caterpillars and then turn into a chrysalis, then hatching and releasing. These teach the whole life cycle. Great for at home or a school setting!
