The minute button was either already broken when I received it or broke when I first tried to use it. Without that button, the clack cannot be set to the correct time, nor can the alarm be personalized.And this is a shame, as I have an older version of this clock that I've had for 25 years or so that still works and keeps accurate time - just the buttons don't work anymore so I can't use the clock as a travel clock in other time zones, nor can I reset it for the daylight Saving Time changes.I bought this one hoping to get 25 years' use from it - and I didn't even get 1 minute's use from it. How sad that a once fine product has deteriorated so badly. Have we truly lost so many skills that our products are no longer any good?

The alarm stopped working on the second day

I wanted this item so bad. As a Christmas present for my dad who had one back in the day. He wanted one just like it. So I found this and was HOPEFUL it would work and woth a try. So I bought it and the numbers weren't lit completely and I tapped on the screen and the numbers went away, and the. It stopped talking and now it won't light up anymore. Didn't function at all. Maybe I can save it as an antique for memory purposes only
