This thing sucks. They should sell it with base-weights or at least let you know they will be required. This stupid umbrella will NOT stand up with the base included. I had to use bags of landscaping rocks to keep it from falling over until I can figure something else out. It does have holes so you can screw it to your deck - and not be able to move it around. Unfortunately I have a paver-patio - not able to screw it down. Also, it is ONLY a sun shade. As soon as it rains the water drips through the center and quickly soaks through the fabric and drips everywhere. Useless for a shelter when trying to grill.Look elsewhere if you think this is a solution - it’s part of a solution (sun shade on a wooden deck) but not a general solution.

I bought two of these after reading reviews. I looked at Lowe’s and items similar were twice the cost, I think these are definitely worth the price, but please buy the weighted things to go on the feet, it’s top heavy and will fall over. I filled mine up with water and they are working perfect. The two umbrellas go up and down the same, and I’m glad I bought them. Perfect on my deck, one over that dining area and one over the sitting area. I’d buy them again 👍🏼30 day update... nuts fell off on both of my umbrellas, (I’m pointed to the nut in pic 3) luckily I noticed it before the bolt fell out, but on one of them the button on top of the umbrella disappeared 🙁 (one side, pic 1) .. what am I to do??? It’s only 30 days?!?!?! I’m afraid to use the umbrella without that little button.. PLEASE HELPPic 2 is sun fade after 1 month.So I never heard from customer service after I posters about the failure of 1 of the 2 I purchased and of course it failed after the “possible return date”.., so I’m stuck with a broken umbrella I’m afraid to use ... 😕

The slightest breeze will turn this umbrella upside down. The umbrella is heavier that the stand, and it is very difficult to put up. Once up, it will turn inside out with the tiniest of a breeze, and getting it back over is only possible if you take it all the way down, because even on the shortest of settings it is very tall. You would have to have a very tall ladder and several tall people. Just do not buy this

purchased this 10ft diameter offset patio umbrella to provide shade for my backyard which is still under construction. It is lightweight but sturdy in construction with durable fabric that is made to handle the elements. The umbrella is easy to put together. The dark green color is true to the picture. It has a angling tilt feature that allows multiple height and shading options. Using the provided holes thru the cross base. I’m planning to build a fortified based about 30 lbs metal. As with all cantilever umbrellas,a solid base of some kind is necessary. Impressive value for comparable products.

Ads says waterproof and fade resistant. Standing under it in the rain is exactly like standing outside it in the rain. Rain soaks through immediately. It started fading in two weeks. I had to re-sew one of the fabric panels. It won’t stay partially up, is slowly sinks down. In short, spending more money didn’t get me a better umbrella. The ones I used to buy at Aldi for 60 bucks were better. Avoid these.

Awkward to store, would be great to find out about an umbrella cover if there is one? A sturdy base-weight is DEFINITELY necessary. I found a sand-filled bag that wraps around the base that works well for about $22... otherwise the whole thing tips forward. Frame is excellent and structurally sound. Highly recommend!

This umbrella seemed ok at first & was relatively easy to assemble, however....the rivet holding the lifting arm popped out the second or third time we lifted it. It was also much more difficult to lift the arm than it should have been (possibly because the rivet was failing?). Annoyingly they also sent an oval shaped umbrella even though we had ordered a rectangular one & the packing material said "rectangular".

I purchased this umbrella in dark green and am pretty happy with it. I wanted it for my deck and it provides good coverage from the afternoon sun. Was easy to put together and took about 10 minutes for complete setup. Since I did not want to screw it into my deck, I purchased a base weight bag, filled it with sand, and placed it on the cross base of stand. I highly recommend some kind of base weight for anywhere this umbrella may be placed. I like the look and ease of use of this umbrella and am hoping I can get a few summers out of it.*EDIT* The dark green umbrella I purchased has faded greatly over only a couple of months. And, it has only been opened a few times. Disappointed in quality of material.
