This guy works exactly as promised; geese don't approach our yard as long as he's out there. We go out and move him every night or every couple nights, and so far (its been about a month) so good!

We have a second home that is on a lake with tons of geese. We recently got this thing and it is SO REALISTIC!!!!! When you look out the window, it's crazy how real it looks. My hubby and I were cracking up sitting on our deck the first night after we put it out listening to all the geese talking in the water trying to figure out what this thing was. They stayed in the water and did not come up to the property so it works!!!! We will probably get a second one. That's how good these are!!! If I was at my property, I would do a video.

So far keeping Canadian geese out of yard, I have 70 living across the street from my house and they destroy my driveway and yard with droppings and eating my grass. Been a week so far, I just move him every few days. If I could change 1 thing it would be a heavier weight. It has blown over a few times but we have had lots of windy weather.

Worthless. Don't buy. Worked for a week. Then the geese realized it was fake even after moving it around every few days. Now they sit right next to it

Like many reviewers, the local geese community took a liking to our newly planted grass. We enjoy the geese but their appetite for short grass was hindering what I had planted from becoming established. I had already tried a few things to discourage them from gobbling it all up but to no avail. Purchased this decoy and boy was I surprised at the difference it made! To date, the geese have avoided our yard. My next door neighbor has also been pleased with the results since they have been avoiding his yard too. The only thing I would recommend is having a way to stake the decoy to ground. It's fairly lightweight and will tip over if the wind gets too gusty. However, it is very durable. I'll probably drill some holes and get a few stakes to secure it to the ground but it's not that big of a deal. You might want to consider moving it to different locations in your yard every now and then. Geese do have a knack for figuring things out so you may not be able to fool them for long if you leave the decoy in one place all the time. And yes, it is very lifelike! I put it together in our living room before placing it out in our backyard. Our two cats had a hissing fit when they saw it for the first time! Liked to have never got them calmed down. Also, the local deer didn't take too kindly to it either. Haven't seen any of them around in a couple of weeks! One more thing. My success with this decoy may not be the same for you. I'm not trying to sell a product. I'm just relaying my personal and honest experience with you. You'll just have to get one and see what happens. All I can really tell you is that it worked for me and that I do recommend it!

Best purchase I’ve ever made. For two years I’ve been raking up goose poop and shoeing them off the lawn. They would slowly walk across the street to my neighbors only to return minutes later. I tried everything . I was skeptical but it’s now been over a month & the geese fly on by & never land. Not only am I geese free but so are my neighbors. Truly happy with this purchase as are my neighbors!

Hoped this would scare the geese from the backyard. Didn't phase them a bit. Can't blame the item as it looks very lifelike.
