(At home I generally used wired connections.)

I bought this item because of the poor reception in my building. Despite having free Wi-Fi, the signal hardly reaches the rooms on the corners. My previous adapter kept disconnecting on and off so I purchased this hoping it would provide a stable connection. Well it has lived up to the task. Speeds are good and the connection doesn't drop off anymore. The small form factor is convenient for when I want to use this with a laptop too. Hoping this guy lasts me for awhile!

I would recommend this if the price wasn't so high. Anything over $9 is price gouging. This review was written during the Cornoavirus pandemic, and it appears Amazon is allowing this company to price gouge.

Estaba buscando la manera de agarrar señal la 5g que manda mi router , pero había solo dos opciones: abrir mi máquina y hacer brujería o comprar una de estas cosas.Me fuí por lo segundo ya que es más práctico y barato.En general, logró doblar la velocidad del internet que me llegaba antes (2.4 Ghz). Sí, hablo de la compañía que casi todos tienen y que tiene cobre en lugar de fibra óptica en la mayoría de los lugares. Antes me llegaba de 15 Mbps bajada y 8 Mbps de subida, con esta antena me llega de 30 Mbps bajada y 10 Mbps subida, ambos estables.Lo recomiendo si no quieres abrir tu máquina y meterle algo bueno.
