I love this product and I am amazed by how well it works, no streaks! My husband was really skeptical but I insisted that we buy the Tyroler. We have a 3 story home and our power-washer can’t reach our upper windows and it had been 18 yrs with no outside wash. In five minutes I finished that first window. Wow! Worth every penny. Then I had a what I’d call a freak accident on the third window as I the unit became dislodged from the window fell to the ground One of the magnets fell out of the unit and broke. I emailed the company asking if I could buy a replacement magnet and sent pictures. Their response was quick and a new D3 arrived within a week. Amazing customer service! I am so pleased with this company and my beautiful clean windows. My tip: remember my to use a lot of window cleaner on both sides!!🤗

In full disclosure, I love this product. It cleans my windows wonderfully. The technique I've established is if the window is very dirty, to Windex and use the squeegee side of the tool. Possibly a few times, up to 3 times I've needed to do on our condo windows in NYC. The glass will be streaky afterwards, I then apply Windex to the blue cloth that attached and go back over the window. This makes it near perfect.I'm extending a 1-star review due to a significant safety hazard. This product comes with a string that you hold and keep inside the window, assuming it will fall off the window. It will fall, regularly. No big deal, it has a string right? WRONG. See my photos. In one instance that this fell, it swung down and must've hit the frame of our window. It knocked the magnetic holder loose, and BOOM the magnet went flying to the ground. This is no ordinary magnet, it's heavy. Very heavy in fact, if it had hit someone, it would've inflicted a serious wound. I was able to recreate this same issue by just hitting the unit onto a solid surface and the magnet came loose again. To prevent this from happening, I applied Gaffers tape onto both holders to ensure it does not fly to the ground again, from our fourth floor condo in Brooklyn.

I live on third floor and have several windows. They are difficult to clean on the outside. This product is my best option other than paying a professional.Pros:1. Does a good job cleaning my windows2. Relatively easy to use3. Cleans inside and outside at the same time4. Great customer service. I had an issue with a part on my set. Contacted Tyroler, and they sent me a whole new set right away.Cons:1. Will not work on all window types.You have to be able to access one area on both sides of the window pane with both hands at same time. Due to this it will not work on fixed windows that don't open.Or bigger sliding windows that are wider/taller than your arm length. For example my living room window has three window pane sections. Middle section is fixed (about 6 ft wide) and the outer sections (about 3 ft wide) slide open horizontally towards the center. Cleaning the outside sliding sections are no issue. Center section requires two people beacuse my arms aren't long enough to reach around the outside section to reach the middle section by myself. One person has lean out and hold outside window cleaner while other person attaches the inside cleaner.2. Takes a long time - two separate steps mean you have to clean windows twice. Add a third time if you have dirty windows (need to do squeegee step twice). Not a huge deal for me, but something to consider.3. Would be nice if it came with at least two sets of microfiber towels.OverallThis is a good window cleaner set that will save me money vs paying a professional.

The media could not be loaded. Know your window thickness, right fit range would help you succeed using this very SMART device! I receive a “used” one when I pay for full price, minus a star. See blow their fabric in that blue color with dirt markings, the cleaning cloth arrived used & dirty. I decided to use swiffer dry wipes and yield serendipitously great result. No need to wash or use any spry. Just dry wipe all that dirty off my window on the outside … give it try! Key is to move slowly so the two pieces stay attached!

You need to be able to spray the outside of the windows for this to work.Not possible on the 38th floor.Trying to wet it then move it around makes it fall off easily which is unsafe and a hassle.

We basically live on the third floor and bought this gadget to clean our big living room window. I looked at other options and decided on this one even if it’s much more in price. I didn’t want to deal with it falling off my window or not cleaning my windows throughly.Totally worth it!I haven’t been able to clean this window in years. All that rain and sunshine has caked the dirt on the window. This cleaned my window with no problems. I read the directions beforehand to make sure to use it correctly without having issues or breaking something.I do have suggestions that might help…1. If your window is very dirty I would suggest wetting the little blue towels in soap and water. (Both sides or just the dirty side)This will make sure both sides glides in the window. This is what I did.2. Make sure you go slow. The whole point is taking your time.3. If you want to make sure the window gets clean throughly rinse the blue towels a few times. Promise it will be worth it.4. Finally when you think the window is clean spray both sides with windex.5. Last step is taking off the towels and using the squeegee feature.These are just my suggestions and how I did it myself. I love to clean and was pleasantly surprised with this handy gadget. It’s great quality and worth the price because I know I’ll use it again and again :)
