"Look Inside" is a Lie
This book is available free in PDF on FAA website. I chose to purchase a hard copy because the price was reasonable, I could browse through the pages easier, and the Amazon "Look Inside" feature showed color pages exactly like what was on the FAA website. The cover of the book was exactly as shown (although the binding text was upside down). The inside pages are not color, but dull grey-scale: very misleading and deceitful!

Black & White, NOT Color!
I will return this. Very disappointed that the version I received was Black & White, NOT Color! (except for the covers)Last page says this: "Made in the USA, Columbia, SC, 09 March 2019"--2 days ago, apparently printed on-demand?No other indication of reprinter or publisher (except FAA) .BTW, also received "Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, FAA-H-8083-25B" reprinted by ASA, in full color.

Dissappointed!
This would be a great book and it is beautifully illustrated with quality paper, but there was something very wrong with the order. When I opened the box, the first think I notice is that the front cover has a rip in it. The people who put this book in the box knew it was ripped and their lack of respect for people's purchases is inexcusable. That I should return the book for its ripped cover is not something I should have to do, so I wont, but I am very disappointed in this seller.

Contents are dead-on
No, the cover doesn't match the picture on the FAA PDF version, but the contents are dead-on and it's the correct version. I don't really care what the cover looks like.

Must Read!!
If you're an aviator or want to be one, you probably already have this book... A fantastic read, and has pretty much all the answers to the questions on your written (this, and the FAR/AIM) Fun to just pick up and spin the pages and start reading

FAA book, looks to be good quality printing.
The front cover is not what is pictured. However, paper quality seems good, it is in color, and the printing seems to be good. The ISBN listed, 978-1-5107-1283-6 is what I received.I would have tasted it 5 stars if the picture in the ad matched what I received.

You don’t need some of this knowledge. You need all of it!
Another well written, comprehensive FAA text. A must-read for conscientious pilots and CFI’s.

Deceitful!
Very misleading!! I wish I would had read these reviews first. The book is by some publisher I have never heard of. Is is pictured with the cover ASA uses, a reputable aviation publisher pilots know and trust. Yes it is written by the FAA but I feel this is deceitful.

Buena presentación, contenido muy útil
Perfecto complemento al "Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge".

VERY good handbook
I wish I had it earlier - this book not only covers the topics and knowlege needed to pass the PPL exam, it also contains a wealth of practical knowledge and helpful "How to"-descriptions!For example, as a beginning student, I was looking for a documented description of a standar traffic pattern - in this book I got it, besides many more practical descriptions, e.g. crosswind landing etc.

Poor print quality and B&W pictures
Folks, let's not buy this. No color pictures (color is necessary to understand some of the diagrams) and 'woolly' fonts - a hell to study if you have a few 100 pages to go.

Nice book
This book is nicely printed on good quality pages. The images is also clear and vibrant in colour and give lots of information.
