Easy to install
Super east to do it yourself. If you are overheating while at idle, you might as well give this a whirl. Takes about 20 minutes if it's your first time. Just watch a video of it and go for it. The only "trick" is that there is a clip where the male/female ends attach. They don't show it well in most videos, just squeeze the flat part of the connector attached to the jeep.2005 Jeep Liberty

I was having issues with the cooling fan on my 2004 Liberty for about 2 days. At first the A/C wouldn't cool while idling, then after a bit of driving around, the coolant reservoir tank was bubbling over with coolant spewing out of it. Also, the temp gauge was nearly redlining which never has happened before. After a bit of DIY process of elimination, I reluctantly, and with some reservation, ordered this fan on a Friday around noon with Saturday delivery (at a steep delivery charge). I wasn't totally convinced the fan was the problem, but at this price point, it was worth a shot. To my pleasant surprise, I received it Saturday afternoon, and I was rolling in my Liberty in less than 15 minutes. Bonus is that I still paid $50-75 less than the cheapest price I found at local brick and mortar stores, even with Saturday delivery. So far the fan is working like a champ, A/C is ice cold and the temp gauge never crosses halfway. With the old fan, there was some lag time before the fan kicked in when the A/C was turned on, not so with this one. The fan turns on immediately once the A/C is activated. Also, if the temp gauge creeps past halfway, this cooling fan turns on where as the original fan took some coaxing (specifically the Fonz technique), which was one clue that maybe it was the cooling fan and not any relays or connections. FYI, be certain which type of connector (three or two prong) the original fan has. There is another fan that is listed as fitting the Liberty, but it has a two pronged connector. I almost ordered that one because it was a bit cheaper. This fan has three prongs (pictured in the images) which matches the original fan. Just like previous reviewers, I can't vouch for the longevity of the part since I've only had it since 6/8/13, but so far so good. It's holding up in Atlanta rush hour traffic, in the middle of summer, so that's some bit of reassurance. And for the record, I am very grateful for the Saturday delivery option and will not hesitate to use it again if the situation calls for it. I'm usually pretty stingy when it comes to extra delivery costs, but after factoring the cost of renting car for the following week, Saturday delivery proved rather beneficial.UPDATE 3/17/17Fan lasted less than 4 yrs until it finally croaked. It first sounded like a very mild groan, less than two weeks after hearing the groan the fan finally crapped out. With a very loud roar, it stopped spinning. Good thing it was in the 20s with a wind chill of 15deg, otherwise the engine would've overheated. Ordered another one with hopes it lasts longer....

Two easy to reach bolts later
2005 Jeep Liberty: I drove into the driveway today and my package was delivered right on time and well boxed. I turned off the motor, popped the hood and grabbed my 10 MM socket and wrench. Two easy to see and reach bolts later, I unplugged the electrical wire harness connector and pushed back, up and out and removed my old fan. I opened my box with the new fan, slipped it down into the grooves from where the old fan was removed, popped it back into place, inserted and tightened the two bolts, reconnected the wire harness, and started the car... 10 minutes flat. I turned on the air.. grabbed my groceries from the back seat and went inside to unload. When I returned, the fan ran quietly and smoothly, no more overheating and everything was normal. I took a quick spin around the block.. all's well, returned home and parked the car. One of the easiest, simplest, quickest repairs I ever made. The part is well priced and of good quality. Highly recommend

Easy to install and great price!
Title says it all. I’m not sure about longevity but for a quick fix for an older vehicle you don’t want to invest a lot into, this worked perfect.

Product as described!!
After changing my thermostat and radiator, my radiator fan for my 2005 Jeep Liberty quit working, of course. For 70 dollars and free shipping, I ordered on a Friday and received it on Monday. Very simple job, remove 2 bolts unhook the connector and replace. Turned on as soon as it should have and now my jeep isn't overheating!!

Three Stars
Wrong part, did not fit my 05 Liberty with dual fans.

Does the job for cheap.
I replaced the fan on my 2004 Jeep Liberty 3.7 using this and it worked perfectly. The old fan was seized up which caused overheating. Replacement was easy, unplug the wiring harness and remove two screws to pop out the old fan, install new fan, replace the screws and plug it in. The material looks a little flimsy but not much difference than the brittle OEM fan housing.
