Meh
We had no trouble with the umbrella falling over - we just hammered 12” trampoline stakes into each of the four feet and now a tornado won’t be able to knock it over. Our problem was with the plastic part that serves the critical function of bracing the umbrella arm again the steel vertical pole. A joint meant to support so much stress should not be plastic. Ours broke the second time we opened the umbrella. Sending it back would be a pain, so we drilled new holes to bolt it together and then added further rigidity by attaching wood over the top and bottom of the joint to hold both pieces straight. We can close the umbrella but never lower it now. So it this a good value? Only if you are creative enough to fix it yourself if it breaks on you. ‘Cause it probably will if you use it with any regularity.

For the price its nice
Overall the umbrella works nicely on our patio, however it had some issues. The umbrella would not open or close when taken out of the box. Had to take apart the crank and untangle the cord inside. After assembled it worked fine until the small plastic coupler that locks it into place broke for no reason. It definitely needs to either be bolted down or have a significant amount of weight on it, and then still it is a little wobbly. Overall however for the price, it serves the purpose we wanted and looks nice with our patio set.

Looks Good, Questionable Durability
Within a few months, the joints show stress (white at the creases) and the “stem” from the pole to the center of the umbrella is broken. The umbrella still functions, but it looks 5 years old rather than one. Red typically doesn’t hold up well in UV rays, so the umbrella looks like a candy cane. My umbrella arrived 4/2019. Today, 5/2020, there’s a slight breeze and is the umbrella won’t stay up because the lever “lock” is loose and slides. Overall this was garbage within a year.

Great for the price point
Very good value. It’s not the strongest set up but gets the job done for under $100. You will have to add weight to the cross brace. I added 4 16x16 pavers for approximately 140 lbs which holds it down great. However, I don’t think I would trust this in anything more than 10mph wind. It rocks too much for my liking and I’m not all that confident in the assembly holding up in strong wind. With that being said it’s a great set up for calm, sunny days.

Very unstable!! Order a different base
We had to use multiple sand bags. This was not a windy day and it was all over the place. Super easy to assemble and perfect between breezes but I live in Florida on the East Coast so we do have breezes. They also shipped a tan umbrella when we ordered the red. I had no choice but to use it since I needed it for the following morning. I don't think i can recommend this to anyone.

affected by wind too easily
unfortunately the one i received was fabricated a bit lopsided so it doesn't stand straight. when the wind blows the umbrella moves back and forth pretty violently. don't believe a word they say about the color not fading. i have had it outside for just two months and only opened fully on weekends and the color is already bleached.

I have a water filled base on the umbrella, but it is very much leaning to the right.
My umbrella is very much leaning to the right and putting stress on the base. I have a water filled base to hold the umbrella. The Umbrella is on a flat surface. Any advice on how to correct the tilt, bc I am concerned this umbrella is going to fall apart.

As advertised
Umbrella is as advertised. Durable and handles the rain well. The adjustable cap to raise or lower the height of the umbrella is already cracking because it is plastic, but can still use the umbrella. And at the price, not worried if it only lasts 2-3 yrs.
