Great kit, mixed success, needs more detailed information
I am a complete novice, but have managed to successfully grow some of the herb plants. The information provided is a little light, but a bit of googling soon supplemented my knowledge. One of the herb varieties has not grown at all (parsley) but so far the basil, mint, thyme, sage and rosemary have. One thing to watch out for - The basil included in my kit was not sweet basil(like you get in the supermarket) but lemon basil. All in all a great starter kit - I’m hooked!

You might not actually get the seeds advertised on the packet
It’s been a couple of months since I bought this. All the plants grew, but I’ve docked a star because the seeds sold as rosemary have actually produced a plant of the clover family - I believe, through my research, that is a large-leafed white clover. It is, however, thriving!

Not all it’s cracked up to be...
Diligently planted the seeds - all started sprouting, apart from the chives and sage - but the basil, (and as others have mentioned) rosemary along with the mint and thyme were a mix of clover and other ‘weeds’ - not herbs at all.The dill, coriander, parsley and fennel have grown well and I use them regularly. Very disappointed however with the honesty of the full product, as I mainly bought to grow own basil, thyme and mint...

Love this product. Most of my herbs have grown well, there are a few that aren’t growing at all but I am still trying!

Unclear instructions for beginner
The instructions aren't very detailed. I followed what they said but nothing grew. Asked few people why they thought they didnt grow and apparently there was too much water but I used exactly how much the basic instructions said. Complete waste of money.

What you see is not always what you get
Got this as a Christmas present. Things have grown. But I have worked out I do not have rosemary seeds....I have clover. And the basil is something entirely different too. The coriander is coriander and is thriving. The mint and sage didnt do well so I am trying those again. I am now trying the others which I hadnt tried before.....fennel, parsley, thyme and chives. I googled and I am not sure these are all the correct seeds either. Time will tell Haha.

Makes a lovely gift for a new gardener
🤫🤫 This year my gardening club are doing a secret Santa! The person I've drawn out of the hat is a relative newbie to gardening & loves to grow herbs so I'm hoping that she'll love this! I can't comment on the viability of the seeds at the moment & they are all ones that you wouldn't sow until spring anyway but that's a chance you take with any seeds 🤷🏻♀️ It is very nicely packaged & certainly looks the part. It has everything included to get you started & a full colour instruction book with information on each of the plant varieties. Great idea for any newbie gardener 🥰Big tip... always label your pots!! 😁
