easy to swap.
the battery life in the dyson had suffered from constant charge and little use, ive changed the wife and bought a new battery for the dyson. three screws to change, straight plug in , simple, three screws back and the new wife seems quite happy with the cord free unit . now that it has extra running time between charges.. ive managed to sneak out for a pint down at the local Weatherspoon's, un noticed.

Does the job.
Works well, but there are two things I noticed and need to point out.First is that there is slight lag between depressed trigger and power being switched on.Second is that when the unit is mounted on the wall for charging, after plugging it in easily, it is not as easy to unplug it. I think is has something to do with the battery being third party because original fitted and worked smoother.If I can to add more, to point out, is that on eBay they are cheaper ;) but you have to wait longer to receive it.

Battery
Seems so far to be better than the Dyson original. Great suction power and lasts well. Slight delay as others have mentioned when you press the trigger but isn't an issue. Will update in future if anything changes.

Good upgrade
Increased run time with a powered attachments; hard floor fuzzy roller and carpet roller. From around 4mins to 9.5mins in high powered mode upgrade of battery for a 3 year old v8 absolute. Will need to see how the batteries age but first impressions are good, installation was simple and delivery fast.

Absolutely brilliant
Replaced the original battery that was supplied with the dyson vacuum (which lasted about 5 mins)yhis battery is superb easy to fit and last for ages while vacuuming good price and fast delivery would highly reccomend

I have my DYSON back !
Significantly cheaper than the genuine Dyson product and seems to work well so far. My old Dyson handheld has a new lease of life and lasts so much longer now!
