Fresh Mamey Sapote (Set of 3)

2 of them came out kind or rotten already, very poor quality looked like it was growing mold and I pciked it up my fingers almost went through it. The 3rd one was not ripe at all super green still waiting for it to see if it will be good. Package came and was left out in the rain as well shipping company did a poor job. I have a lot of experience with this fruit and nothing compared to what I have been used to. I threw 2 of them away and left the not riped one. Waste of money...

My grandparents have been craving these for decades. Due to how much stores sell it for they haven’t been able to afford a single one since moving to the United States. When the choice is either medication or a fruit the answer is obvious. So time passed and they hadn’t eaten one in over 30 years. I decided to do some looking around and I found them on amazon. I think it was worth every cent to buy. All three came packaged neatly and safe. One huge one and two medium sized mamey. Wonderful. My grandparents cried with joy when they saw them, they arrived just in time before my grandfather’s heart surgery so he got to taste some of the one that had been most ripe upon arrival. He reckons the rest will be finished ripening up by the time he gets out of the hospital. But lord, it was wonderful to see them cut into a fruit and be greeted by its bright vibrant orange-y red. It was also my first time trying it and it was every bit of amazing that they described. I hope to buy more in the future for them and myself.

This fruit is amazingly good! It reminds me of candied yams and sweet potatoes at your Thanksgiving dinner. Only this one is healthy for you & you can eat all you care for! The fruit is huge! It's so well worth the price. I highly recommend that you purchase your fruit from Tropical Importers because they are fast with their shipping, extremely courteous & respectful to their customers, and they understand the problems that arise when shipping produce. I live all the way up here in Alaska and these fruits are being shipped from Florida. I had a couple rot in the box by the time it arrived to me and I told them my problem and they were kind enough to send me more in place of what rotted. I was amazed because these fruits are expensive. They are even sending me different samples of other exotic fruits that they carry. Tropical Importers certainly gets my vote when purchasing fruit online. I don't know where else you can get great service like this especially long distance.

Luck of the draw. 2 were extremely ripe. 1 was not ripe at all. My mom is from El Salvador so it was worth the money to surprise her since the fruit doesn't grow in the states.Would not buy again.

The one that ripened was pretty good, but the other two still haven’t ripened. Maybe if I give it more time been almost a week.Edit, they ripened well. I came up with a process that really helped.They were too dry to ripen so at night I put them half submerged in filtered water, stem side down.in the day time I put them in the window in direct sunlight for 8 hours. Then at night same water cycle. I did this for 4 or 5 days.It was worth the wait. It wasn’t as good as the ones I’ve had in hawaii, but it was definitely worth it. I would buy again

All of the 3 Mamey received were dried out. So hard you could hardly cut it, rotten inside. Sent an email with pictures 4 days ago and again yesterday, no reply so far.

Desafortunadamente No tome fotos 🙊🤷‍♀️ Por que estaban tan delicious 😋 que me los comi ☺ Llegaron 3 mameyes de buen tamaño en un paquete d servicio postal, al inicio cuando vi el paquete en mi mailbox 📬 pense que no hiban a ser buenos ya que estuvieron ahi por un día, bajo el sol y calor 😬 cuando abri el paquete estaban un poquito tiernos pero cuando abri la cascara para ver el color y probar, fue una sorpresa deliciosa eran rositas y estaban muy dulces. Asi que yo voy a volver a comprarlos espero me lleguen igual de sabor!!
