LEXIVON HEX Bit Socket Set, Premium S2 Alloy Steel | 13-Piece Metric 2mm - 14mm Set | Enhanced Storage Case (LX-141)

I haven't broken any... yet. I truly only needed one of the sizes inside this set. The 14mm is what's needed to remove an engine plug from my Ford Fusion in order to install the heater plug, so I can warm up the car at night before heading out to work. Most people will tell you to just start the car earlier, but that wastes so much gas, and frankly when it's 50 below outside, you'll be glad you installed this during the summer. Best part: I didn't break the socket, and it fit under the intake manifold where I had to get to. I also didn't lose it as it stayed on my socket extension bar. I haven't had the opportunity to use the others, but I am NOT selling this to anyone else, as this is a quality set. I've had a socket set that was $20 from Auto Zone that has held up for thirty years, so price isn't always equal to performance. I think someday, someone will get this set in almost new condition, and be happy to have it, I know I am.

Nice little set, stores well. It’s nice having all the bits in order, saves on time. They are easy to remove and put back. The set Works as it should. My husband loves it.

Does good, I’m a mechanic and haven’t stripped a single Allen socket yet. They do rust so keep oil on the sockets.

This tool set is excellent - I got the metric set to do various installations/maintenance on my motorcycle. I can't believe what you get for the price of this: 13 different pieces with all of the necessary sizes you'll typically encounter, and each one has it's own attachment for the appropriate torque drive, so these are easily attached w/o the need to mess with finding the correct adapter, and to ensure you're don't risk shearing anything using the wrong drive. Each piece is organized in it's own recession with the appropriate label engraved before it, so you don't have to pick up multiple pieces and twist them around trying to read the fine sizing print, and it all comes in a compact, easy-open/lockable storage case to boot. Honestly, for the sale pricing at the time I purchased this - it seemed way too good to be true, but I had previously purchased a torque wrench made by Lexivon and had the same experience with being impressed w/ the quality, casing, and easy product registration to add a Lifetime warranty to back it up, so I felt comfortable making this purchase and I'm so glad that I did. At the time of purchasing this, I only needed two of the sizes included with this 13-piece set, but those two pieces that I needed alone would have cost as much or more than what this Lexivon set cost me (and often, did not even include the appropriate adapter as Lexivon has provided for each individual piece.) This is one of the best purchases I've made in terms of the value, and quality-per-price-point. I am so thankful for Lexivon as a company, and being able to get the tools necessary to do simple projects and installations w/o having to pay an absurd amount per tool that would otherwise lead me to just try to get the job done unsafely, or in doing a sub-par job due to just trying to utilize what "close-enough" tools I had available. Seriously - if you need any single one of these pieces for a job, just buy this set. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing kit, I use it professionally in an auto shop and is holding up really well. I'm not easy on these and for the price you can't beat them. I don't see a reason to buy any more tools from the big 3 anymore

Great product. Well worth the money

I was very pleased with this purchase of American made tools with a lifetime warranty (if you register your set). Looks can sometimes be deceiving but not with this tool set. I was impressed when I opened the box to find a very solid plastic box that contained the sockets sitting very neatly arranged in a tray. Yeah, this set is very much worth the money and I highly recommend it for those who have need of this set.

They are of good quality and do the job. Yet to use these extensively so I can't speak about longevity, but they feel like they will last a long time.
