Patient Evaluation, Data Collection, and Communication: A Pocket Guide for Nurses

A must have for all nurses and nursing students!
This is an excellent book and resource, especially for new nurses or nursing students. It is an incredibly well written pocket guide that can be used for the novice nurse or even for the seasoned nurse to direct you to the information you need to be able to talk to providers easier and more efficiently, especially in an urgent situation. I would highly recommend this for all nursing students to use as a pocket resource for clinicals, for new nurses in orientation, and even for more seasoned nurses as a resource for when you come across a patient situation you need to address. It is well written by a nurse for fellow nurses. Not to mention, the writer is also a provider so she knows what providers need to know when nurses call. Overall, an excellent clinical tool that is well worth your money!

Great for new nurses!!!
Loved the details and information available for new and advanced nurses alike. Great questions to ask patients for the most common complaints. Highly recommend ❤️

Excellent Reference Book for Nursing Students and New Nurses!
Full disclosure, I was a reviewer of this book. That being said, this is an incredibly useful book for both nursing students as well as new nurses. It breaks down clinical conditions into pearls that allow the reader to learn what to assess, what abnormal findings would be, and what to do next, particularly how to communicate these findings to the provider even if that means paging at 2am (something that novice nurses are notoriously afraid too do). A very valuable tool worthy of anyones clinical bag!
