I bought a frosted one to place underneath a waterproof doormat just as an added layer of protection for my hardwood floor, as I will be growing plants indoors in that area. It’s thick and good quality and yes, you have to put books etc on the edges at first. My one issue was with the packaging - it was wrapped so tight you’d think the world’s nuclear codes were inside. Took 10 minutes just to cut away the outer wrapping in streaks and chunks, and was worried my scissors would scrape into the actual item.

It was the second one I bought from this seller recently, the only reason that keeps me coming back is the Quality. First, It’s winter now, it was rolled up tightly for delivery. Relax, just a little hair dryer heat or heavy things’ weight can make it as flat as my holiday season wallet, and no air bubbles issue at all. Second, it has no chemical smell, and amazingly still has no odor even when heated. Third, the size of it is accurate, it’s super clean, also was well packaged. Great value for money!

I had a 42-inch table with 4 roll-about chairs from the late 1980s. It was very comfortable, but it took up too much space. This 36-inch table fits perfectly and is very nice. I was a little disappointed with the color of the peddle still stand, but the chairs cover most of it. I added light gray upholstered chairs to the table and it really finished it off. I would buy it again.

I just put it on my furniture yesterday, but it's a nice weight and fits beautifully!

This is a must buy for all your expensive tables. We ruined our super expensive table due to spillage which could’ve been avoided. So after getting it fixed I ordered this cover. It lets you enjoy the table without covering it completely; while protecting it. Leaves a no residues! Lastly, I’m yet to test the heat resistance.

I wasn't terribly concerned that this product arrive four days late. However, I am concerned that it doesn't want to lay perfectly flat. Before placing it on my writing desk, I unrolled the TIGHTLY WOUND mat from its shipping tube and layed it -- with some difficulty -- on a flat surface. I used heavy text books to press down on it, and I left it alone for a couple of days to warm it up. Well, it's been at its permanent location on my desk for three days now, and the edges still try to curl up. As I look across the matt from a low angle, I can see the slightest hint of waves. In short, I believe a thicker (more mils) protector would lay flatter. Also, this protective mat has 90 degree cut corners, not the rounded corners I was expecting. It's perfectly clear, and I'm happy about that, but the edges need to lay flat before I'll be happy.

I wanted this to protect my maple table that sits beside my deep freeze. I got it a little longer than needed and was planning on cutting it to fit, but to my delightful surprise I was able to wrap the end around and it’s a perfect fit.I think because it’s pliable and isn’t too thick, it can do this
