Hosel Brush Honing Wire Tool for Irons - Cleans Out Hosels

When you remove a golf club shaft from the clubhead there is a lot of debris left inside the hosel (where the shaft goes into the clubhead). This brush is the correct diameter to fit into that space, it also is still and rigid enough to "grind" out most of the old adhesive residue left in there. Perfect for the job.

I bought this to clean out one thing and it worked incredibly well. No complaints. The metal brush cleans a lot of random things for me.

If all you need this for is cleaning old epoxy out of a hosel, it does the job. Additionally, I tried to clean the epoxy out of the shaft tip as well. The brush tool broke. I believe that giving the shaft tip more heat might solve the problem. I cleaned several shaft tips before it broke. Just note that if you clean the hosel, make share it is still hot. If you clean the inside of the shaft tip, use more heat and possibly a regular drill bit first. Then use the brush with care.

I considered a hand version of this, but after using this one I'm really glad I bought it. This thing worked perfectly. I have a whole set of clubs to re-shaft and this is cleaning out the hosel very well with ease of use.

I had to drill out a graphite shaft because it could not be pulled despite multiple tries by a golf shop. This brush cleaned out all of the residual shaft material very quickly. Excellent product.
