You need a good paste
Artic Silver is my go to thermal paste. Because of Covid availability of items, on this computer build, I used the thermal paste which came with the CPU.I felt that there may have been issues with heat transfer & cooling, especially because of the huge GPU I am using. Seeing I was nearly taking the computer apart, I wanted to add premium thermal paste & know that it is doing it's job.I got the two pack because I'm not sure if I need to take my (sounds like Missy) GPU apart & paste it as well. I also may upgrade my chip sooner than later, & will have one tube ready to go.This twin pack allows for the Amazon minimum, where some others do not. The little scraper is alright. I tried it, but didn't like it. I have been putting thermal (Artic Silver) paste on my builds for years & just applied it like I always do, like frosting a cake with a firm piece of 1/32 pine from my craft table.I show a snap of the chip, in the event someone needs to know they can just remove the cooling fan to get to the mounting screws in the case. Just be careful the main hardware (upper corner) doesn't come loose.Oh, this or the way I apply it, is a tad more than one application. I coat it evenly, do a scrape with a firm piece of cardboard, wood or plastic, then mount the cooler. I've never had an issue using the whole tube & have NEVER needed to reapply thermal paste to any of the computer I've built using Artic Silver thermal paste. I also want to say that a full application, allows for any adjustments you may need to make getting the pieces mounted. Using less, may ruin the whole thing.Good luck on your builds.

Worked perfectly for PS4 CUH 1215a (non-gloss left top panel/500GB model)
Opened my PS4 for the first time ever, lots of guides are absolutely horrible at guiding you through the process I have found. After taking it apart completely (cleaning it) and putting it back together, I noticed a huge difference in the home screen alone. Launching a game was a different story; it was way louder than it had ever been. I failed to reapply thermal paste, bought this, applied it, put it back together along with some new thermal pads. Its never been quieter. These are the thermal pads I used, they're already precut, they do slightly hang over the RAM chips, but I don't think that's a bad thing - they aren't too big, but they're immensely bigger than the originals: "SIXQJZML 30Pcs 15x15x1mm Soft Silicone Thermal Conductive Pads Heatsink IC Chipset Northbridge for CPU GPU Heatsink" . I'm shocked honestly! Very happy with my purchase, I would definitely recommend to anyone at all with a loud PS4. Going to really put it to the test today by streaming some Titanfall 2 multiplayer. If you want a good guide, look for "How To Refurbish PS4 Model CUH-1215A" (the channel is called "Console Fix") on YouTube, that guy's video saved me a lot of trouble. The only bad thing I could say about the video was that the camera quality is in 480p (but he does have 2 camera angles), which won't really affect the process, just be sure to pay attention and you'll be fine. 10/10 - Small grey pads are original, big blue ones are new, had pictures of old thermal paste but can't find them, needless to say it was mostly dry and cracked - * BE CARFUL - taking the top and bottom shell off, I some how or another ended up with 2 plastic tabs which I can only assume snapped off of one of the plastic shells when prying it open. Everything still went together fine, it just wont hurt to have all plastic clamps still on your console.*

Does quite a good job just a little messy to say it frankly or as short as possible :)
I really like this product. But there's a little hesitation on my part from giving it the Excellent rating that I could potentially possibly give to a product in the thermal compound/cleaner combo. First, when I tried to push the ""injection"" ""needle"" into the cpu, it wouldn't come out, then long story short it all came out completely all at once, and that's only for the applicator. I didn't had to use the cleaner bottles (both bottles are cleaner bottles long story short), so I can't comment on them. However, despite all of this, it worked perfectly and I had no problem with them at all, so I would recommend it but only with the previous caveat. It may be a downer but it was there. I have to say that. And this product works as promised. In addition, it took some time for the product to arrive. To put it another way, it took AT LEAST 3 times as long for it to arrive than the CPU i7 that I ordered, that it came to the point that I wondered about the timing of it coming. Sincerely.. the reviewer.

Works for years
Got a new tube as the old would have been over 5 years old. This paste works great had not changed it in over 6 years as live has been happening and I just forgot about it as my cpu been running great. My husband had pc problem so I decided to start with a good clean and a cpu re-paste. I have also used it on my GPUs and it still works great. I will keep using this. The paste applier helped greatly. This was the first time I used one and it cleans up really nice.
