Good, strong camera split rings
These are great split rings for an older camera or a camera with rounded/circular strap lugs (e.g. Fuji X100 or any Leica M). I'm using these as an attachment post for a LumaLabs Cinch strap and it works great. It doesn't bunch up the nylon strap and keeps the camera strap nice and even over my shoulder and neck. You can probably find cheaper split rings, but you are paying for the size and the strength. The split rings are quite small (12mm or just under 1/2 inch) go almost a full 360, so it is very unlikely that it will it will fall out of the lug. It is also quite strong, held up a M body and a 50mm 1.5 lens very easily. The X100 is even smaller, so not a problem. I haven't tested it with heavier loads, so I'm not sure how it will hold onto a Canon 1D body with a Canon 70-200 L f/2.8 II lens on it.You do get 4 of them, so if you really want to reinforce a camera strap, put 2 split rings on each lug and then loop the strap through it.

12mm split rings for camera strap attach points
Just what I wanted for my cameras. Tough little rings will support most enthusiast cameras such as Sony RX10-III.. I think they would pass muster on even the bigger full size 35mm format cameras, but I haven't attempted to take one to the point of failure. The Sony Hx90v requires a ring like this in order to have something to attach a clip to (unless you have the leather case for it). The tiny attach point is inset a bit. Making even these little rings a little tricky to attach.

Look nice and do their thing
These aren't anything special and they were a bit of a pain to install on the lugs of my FujiFilm x100s (bought used with everything but split rings). Once on they look nice and do their thing. No real faults.

Didn't need after all.
Yes, they do what is needed, but they are too expensive. Found out my camera came with rings anyway. Maybe I can use them as key rings for miniature keys?

Perfect for flash drives
I couldn't find anything else like it. This is perfect for flash drives that have a *very* small hole for a keyring, where normal keyrings will not work (they're too big), yet they do not come with a keyring. I have to rate this five stars because I really can't find a fault, though I'd like it to be a bit smaller (though I can't fault this particular product for being what it is).

*** No ***
I'm customizing a carry rig for a recently converted to IR Nikon D800and bought these rings because the package and text made it sound as thoughthey were made from good German steel for camera gear. While they may be made in Germany, these rings are not at all suited for camera gear.I used a split ring pliers in preparation to put rings on camera. The first ring I used deformed (see pic) when I applied minimal pressure to open. The rings are neither spring or stainless steel.I would not recommend this hardware for any application.

I purchased these rings because I thought I could use them for my Nikon D750. After I received them, I found them to be too small for me to use. Also, I did not trust that they would be strong enough for my Nikon. I considered returned them but I would have netted too little after using the Amazon return label, so I am keeping them. They may be OK for a smaller camera.

Small and tough
Two of these were for a homemade paracord camera strap, the other two were PERFECT for two Samsung USB thumb drives that we've been keeping loose (and somehow haven't lost) for about a year now. The hole was too small for anything strong to fit through, this solved the problem perfectly.
