Helps me understand alot I did not understand explanes the notes more easily.

I'm not really a fan of YouTube tuition. But I bought this book for teaching groups of students music reading/ Rhythm reading. It is a very good book and my students range from 6 to 52 years old and they seem to really respond well to this book. Would recommend.

I've read other theory books regarding rhythm and this is the one that's really stuck with me. There's loads of exercises to complete and really easy to understand. Only downside is there aren't any answers to check it against.

Easy to follow. Good value for money

I think all musicians struggle with reading crochets and quavers and translating them into the right timing….especially lots of guitarists who can often be self taught.And yet if we want to strum along to a certain given rhythm. Or follow the music or solo with the right timing, then knowing how to read…is a massive step up.This book doesn’t drown you in music terms or boring lectures…it gives you exercises, progressing from simple to difficult. You’llReally benefit from using a metronome so you know your getting the exercises right.Don’t get this book if you’re looking to learn soul or rock rhythm playing.Do get this book if you willing to put the work in, doing exercises, building a reading language so you can read any rhythm you’re presenting with.

just sheets very little teaching no sound files rubbish. A rip off

It was very informative and I liked the exercises. Maybe there could have been more 16th note rhythm patterns.

This exercise book is a great compliment to Justin's online courses!!

Easy to follow. Well explained

Justin and Justin wrote a great book. Its undoubted advantage is the relaxed presentation of the material from simple to more complex, as well as a huge number of useful exercises, the systematic implementation of which simply guarantees your success. I've read a few rhythm books before this book, but this book is simply unmatched. It is no exaggeration to say that this book deserves to be a desktop tool for all musicians, not just guitarists.Justin< my respect!
