The kit looked nice upon opening it. The book was really handy. But I followed the directions exactly and nothing happened. Gave it extra time and even placed it under a grow light at night. So I did a germination test and put 10 seeds of each vegetable in a wet paper towel and put them each in a baggy. Most did not germinate at all. A few of the vegetables had a couple sprouts but out of the few sprouts, all that is left after I planted them is 1 kale sprout that made it. Would not buy again and I wasted my money and have to spend more to get the vegetables that I’ve been trying to grow for a month with this kit.

I was looking for just a little something to start germinating a few vegetables. This kit comes with all you need, plus a nice assortment of seeds. It is a good value for the price!EDIT: I added a picture of the tomatoes I planted from this kit. The pictures above are about 3 and a half months apart. The tomatoes they produce taste delicious, and the plants can't seem to stop growing! I already have some winter seedlings planted in the old containers below as well.

I was really looking forward to receiving this and getting started on a new hobby but unfortunately I was left disappointed. I only received the trays, so more than half of the items that it’s supposed to include were missing. The stuff I did get was carelessly wrapped and the plastic lids were bent.
