Q: Does this help with etched marble surfaces? I have a dining room table that looks terrible due to etching from food and drink spills.

I don't know if it will cover etching, but I know that it did NOT make my marble table shine at all. It did not make any difference. But it did smell nice. That is it.

Q: Can this be used on marble floors?

While I love using this wax on my marble and stone table tops and vanities, I would not use it on floors because of the slippery surface that may cause falls. This shine is fantastic, but a floor covered with this product could prove to be hazardous.

Q: Does this wax come off when you place food on it? Is it poisonous if it accidentally comes in contact with food??

It is a polish you polish it on leave it for about 15 minutes then polish it off it brings up the natural seen in the Marble so it

Q: do i need a buffing tool for these products?

No buffing equipment works as well as your own hands on polishing. Over time, the shine is engrained and requires less effort. I love this product.
