Great airflow, easy assembly, not too noisy.
This fan arrived today (6/06/2022), assembly took less than 10 minutes. Instructions were simple and clear. Fan arrived in good condition & with all parts. Fan has great airflow, looks nice, makes some noise but is normal for fans. Does not have remote control, has 3 speed settings and oscillation. The fan works great, and blows air just like I want it to do. I'm hot-natured and I don't even have it turned up all the way, it's on medium. This is my 2nd Lasko fan of this type. The previous one was black and lasted several years of continuous use, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I will update this review if the fan breaks or has any problems.Edit: While you are assembling the fan, once you've put the piece housing the motor onto the stand, tilt the top part back and put one drop of machine oil or lubricating oil onto the spindle where the fan blade goes. Do this before you put on the fan blade. Let the oil run down the spindle, then finish the assembly as normal. Lubricating the spindle will help keep the fan running smoothly.

Well made, last a long time with constant use, great for circulating air.
The media could not be loaded. I grow most of our veggies and herbs in our basement and use fans to circulate the air and distribute the heat produced by the lighting. These fans also circulate humidity in the air which helps our 2 running dehumidifier to be more efficient. In addition to increasing airflow, this fan helps to pollinate tomatoes and peppers so I don't have to do it manually. I am a 77 year old woman that assembled this fan in less than 10 minutes. So, I can attest that it is easy to assemble. This is the 4th Lasko oscillating pedestal fan I have bought. I bought the first one 3 1/2 years ago, and it is still working fine. All 4 of these fans are set up on timers and go on when the plant lights go on. Considering the price of these fans, I believe they are a good investment for the time that they last.I very much like that the height of these fans can be adjusted, the speed of the fans have 3 settings (low, medium, and high), and the angle of the air flow can be adjusted. This fan definitely helps to regulate air temperature and humidity in larger rooms. If I need another fan, I would definitely buy this one, and would recommend it for my purpose or for general household airflow.I hope this review was helpful for you.

LOUD but effective
We needed a low cost fan that could help keep our house cool. We have ac but we live in the desert where summer temps can reach 115+ degrees. We keep this fan rotating under where the cold ac air blows out.PROS-easy to set up and start using-the cord is long enough to reach difficult outfits-it does a great job at getting air moving and it keeps our house cool-even on the low setting it blasts at a great pace. Much better than other fans in this price range!-easy to use.... speed 1, 2, 3 and off-the fan has a large turn radius. So when placed in a corner it goes from one edge to another.-large base that keeps it sturdy-light enough that we carry it downstairs during the day then bring it back upstairs at nightCONS-this fan is LOUD. Even on its lowest level it’s very loud.-on the highest setting I cant hear people talking to me from across our kitchen unless they raise their voice. It’s almost as loud as a cheap hair dryer lol So when blasting we find ourselves says “what?” A lot.-we love sound machines but on lowest setting it’s still a bit loud for us at night. For the price point this is at I would recommend this fan but prepare for it to be LOUD ;) we need another fan but will wait a few more weeks so that we can get a more expensive quieter fan.

Super powerful, super sturdy, no annoying lights
This is probably the fourth floor fan I've had in as many years. The others have all broken either because either the motor has given out or the plastic legs are so flimsy that they can accidentally be broken by stepping on them or banging into them (I have balance issues so am kind of a klutz). This fan has been amazing. The pedestal base is very hard to break, the fan itself is extremely powerful and puts out a lot of air on the high setting. It can be a little noisy but of course it is, there's no way to make these silent. Best of all is that there are no lights to glow in the dark or anything else other than a fan so I can keep it on all night without it distracting me or waking me up. A+.

A basic fan that performs well for a fair price
Update: This fan is still doing great after a year. No complaints whatsoever. And I feel I have to again address the noise that many reviews mention. This fan simply isn't noisy...unless you find the sound of rushing air noisy, which is what a fan does. As far as the motor or the blades somehow being noisy, they're not. After exhaustive research, I purchased a higher end Rowenta fan for $120. It performed flawlessly and did it quietly, which was important to me. Three years later it stopped working completely for no apparent reason. It just would no longer turn on at all. Unwilling to spend another hundred dollars again only to have a dead fan in 3 years, I researched once more and purchased this Lasko fan for somewhere around $35. Assembly is easy, although I'd prefer if the front cage attached a little more securely. It doesn't fall off, but it also doesn't attach with a satisfying snapped-in-place feeling. There are many reviews on here that mention this fan being loud. I don't find it to be particularly loud...it sounds like a typical fan, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to noise. There's no annoying clicking noise when it oscillates (as some fans tend to do) and yes, it's a little louder than the Rowenta but nothing I would call out of the ordinary. One thing I did was purchase the 4 year extended warranty for $6. I don't normally go for these warranties but if you read through enough reviews of fans, almost every one has issues with suddenly dying for no reason (like my Rowenta did). So for a few extra bucks I'm guaranteed to have a working fan for at least 4 years...and I still paid 1/3 of the price I did for the Rowenta. So far I'm satisfied with this fan. For the price I don't think you can go wrong with it.
