We started using Solo's "Dart 100PC" 1 oz. plastic portion cups (also available on Amazon) as shot glasses for our outdoor entertaining. We are using this Parrot as a decorative shot cup holder instead of a salt & pepper shaker holder. The diameter of the cups are similar enough to the shakers that this works very well for us.

The wings are different sizes. The shaker fit nicely on one side, but couldn't be held in other wing. Super cute parrot, though.I will order another in case I just had the one bad one.Update: a replacement arrived the next day...clearly faster than the vendor could have received the return. I left a voicemail and this proves they acted on my message immediately! Thank you!!!

If you don't buy brand name items on Amazon, chances are that what you buy are smaller than expected or cheaply made. More than half of what I bought on Prime Day fell into those 2 categories. This was a GREAT PURCHASE. It's even better than expected. I've owned over a dozen large parrots and macaws. The detail if spot on. Of course the wings and tail are shorter than the real thing but the head and coloring is perfect. I'm going to see if this company has other items to buy. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this little guy. His home is on our kitchen table where he provides a lot of whimsical fun for very little room.Our jolly parrot is bright and colorful and hefty enough so that he's not going to fall over if the kids are pulling out or putting back the shakers --which come with the bird. He arrives in a box that is inside the Amazon box. There are two Styrofoam casings which enclose him so that he doesn't sustain damage.Like I said, we're using him at the kitchen table, but I can also see using him poolside or barside, or just on the Kitchen table. I filled our two shakers with salt --because we grind our pepper fresh-- and this allows salt to be at both ends of the table.Well worth the current ten-spot price.

This is the cutest thing and the colors are so vivid. I just love it. The only problem is that one of the arms is a bit smaller than the other so the shaker does not fit in it unless it is a bit forced. I am hoping that in time it will take care that problem, maybe stretch a bit. Did anyone else have this problem and was there a solution?Thanks, Lacy

I love “Milo”! Yes, I named my cute salt and pepper shaker. He is the perfect addition to outdoor dining table. I don not leave him outside of course. The S&P shakers fit easily into the from of the parrot. It is heavy and sturdy for its size.
