Flowers in Felt & Stitch: Creating Floral Artworks Using Fleece, Fibres and Threads

Such an amazing wool artist! I now have all her books and love every one of them. My favorite by far is her newest one. It is very detailed and shows more steps. Such beautiful creations.

This is an awesome book to me: the artwork takes my breath away, it is so beautiful, and the pictures are nice enough to take the book apart and frame the prints to hang them in my home - many are full page images of the artwork, which makes the book just nice to look atOn top of that there are detailed instructions with many step by step pictures that make me want to just reach in and touch the fleece, ha ha - very nicely done - and it puts the art work in my reach, meaning that it looks like I might accomplish such a nice composition myself with these instructionsIt is true that the print is very fine and hard to read, like one other reviewer said - maybe the could change that in a next edition? - it makes the colorful artwork pop out more, but will be harder to read when following the instructions - I am starting to have eye problems, too, and will need good glasses and light for this, but I think that is ok

I have several books on felting and I think this one is absolutely THE BEST. The photographs of the artists' work are stunning. Her work is stunning. I actually found myslef catching my breath as I skimmed through the pages admiring her style, I mean MY STYLE in finishedproduct. She generously shares her process and tips throughout the well written instructions and photos. Were she to author anotherbook the only request I would make is to please make the typestyle darker to be more easily read. I have to read it under a stronglight but then I'm not a spring chicken anymore! Thank you Moy for a wonderful treasure!

I purchased Moy Mackay's first book on felting, Art in Felt and Stitch, when it came out several years ago and taught myself to felt from it. Her instructions are so clear and detailed that any beginner could do the same. Also, no one else is doing felted landscapes. Most felters are doing wearables or sculpture and most books are geared in that direction, but I wanted to do landscape. Thanks to her, my work now hangs in three local galleries. I have found the same careful detail to instruction in this book, and it clearly stands on its own as she explains the felting process once again. The pictures are beautiful and inspiring and have inspired me to redirect some of my energies away from landscapes and into flowers. Keep writing, Moy! We need you.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! I am a self-taught fiber artist and I had a vision in my head of a project that I wanted to make. I used every tool in my arsenal to try to get the look I wanted- with a few close calls but no real success. I was hoping to get inspiration from this book or maybe find a picture that I could study to figure out what I was doing wrong. Imagine my joy when I opened up the book and found clear- step by step instructions with photos that actually showed me what I needed to do to get the desired effect. I can't wait until morning so I can get into my studio and try this out. I am so excited I may not get any sleep!

Beautiful book! This book is inspiring - packed with great ideas. The directions are very straightforward and walk the reader step-by-step through painting pictures with felt. This is a wonderful book. Lots of great ideas, well photographed, nice quality.

Good information but not a lot different to the previous book. I'm happy enough with the purchase . Perhaps I wouldn't have bought it in a bookshop where I can could have looked at it more. However the price was ok

Beautiful art work in felt/wool roving. Colours gorgeous. Full of inspiration and good step by step photos. Her landscape book is equally good. Both well worth owning if this is your interest. A few friends saw my copy and ordered their own. Highly recommended.
