Something funny about the wick
This product is a nice kit, a great price, but there's something odd about the wick. It doesn't seem to stay burning. It seems to go out by itself a lot. It might be a good idea to buy quality wick and save your money. I have to keep remelting my candles to pull the wick up again, but it seems to keep drowning in candle wax. I've bought a quality wick that works fine with the metal bottom holder. I have to blame the wick. I'm using the same wax with a better wick and it burns continuously.

Really bad experience
Okay, so as a part of DIY I tried to make few candles at home. The product looked good the packaging was good. When I start using it, the end of the wick was really weak and fragile it breaks 2 out of 5 times and it's really frustrating. But it's fine I can understand that.Coming to the life of the wick while burning. This brings the worst experience. The wick burns really quick and creates an ugly black bend and cannot keep its distance from wax and the flame turns off. At some cases, the wick creates an ugly expanded tip which makes the very violent and hardwired flame tending to blacken and heating the glass around.Really disappointed with the product.

Perfect for a beginner like me. I only dropped a star because the wick ends were bent but still work just fine overall

I bought these to make new candles out of some that I had broken the glass to. It worked perfectly.
