This little violin is both beautiful and amazing. I purchased a 3/4 size for my 12 year old daughter who has played for a little over a year. Both the violin and case are amazing. The violin has beautiful color and graining on the front as well as detailed flaming on the back. The brass tuners add to the class of this amazing instrument. The sound is also rich with a warm tone.The case is equally amazing. The coloring and tidiness of the case is beautiful. It is a hard case with canvas covering. It has the option of adding both straps to create a backpack. The pockets and storage within the case are ample as well.For not knowing exactly what I was doing when switching from renting to buying, I could not be happier. Kennedy violins has been supportive and available with any needs we may have had and I am very happy about my purchase.

Bought this for my younger child who is new to violin (older has a rental of another brand). I was blown away by the quality and attention to detail! Very pleasantly surprised. Now my older child wants one! Given the price and quality, we will definitely be switching to Kennedy for our older child!

A short background: I am an older adult who has purchased a beginner violin from an online competitor of Kennedy. My 12 year old great niece takes lessons with a rental and I wanted to get her one of her own. Mine was great for a beginner so I decided to buy a better violin for myself and give her the one I had. I had great difficulty in getting some answers from the web store I previously dealt with so I contacted Kennedy in March, 2014.I had great communication with Ms. Case who was very pleasant and helpful. I purchased a 4/4 Carpini G3 which I promptly received on March 14. There were some issues with the violin and so I kept in communication with Ms. Case who continued to be very helpful. On April 1, I notified Ms. Case that I wished to exchange the violin. There was no hassle at all in making the exchange and Ms. Case took much time to review and play a large number of violins herself before sending me pictures of a couple recommendations. Kennedy paid all postage for the return and exchange. I could not have asked for, expected or have been provided better customer service. In addition, Kennedy has very helpful blogs and videos.Now for the violin - it is beautiful both in appearance and sound. It maintains a "golden" tune and it felt like it was made specifically for me - as if it is part of myself. I LOVE IT and I want to thank Ms. Case for all the time she spent in ensuring that I am a satisfied customer. One of my violin instructors who is also a luthier closely inspected it, played it (she has played with major symphonies) and told me it is a "very sophisticated" instrument for the price I paid and that with an upgraded bridge and strings, the violin is easily worth twice what I paid. But I love it just the way it is. I would recommend Kennedy Violins to anyone for their great customer service and fine quality products.

I bought the Antonio Giuliani Etude Violin for my daughter. Although she was so excited to have her own beautiful instrument she was having difficulty with it. One string wouldn't tighten correctly and the instrument would not stay tuned for even an hour. I called Kennedy Violins and spoke with Travis who gave incredible customer service! He offered to ship out a new upgraded instrument, the Louis Carpini G2 Violin at no charge, and if we were happy with it we could return the Etude. If not we could return both and receive our money back. We were completely happy with the new beautiful violin and even more with such great customer service! Thank you Kennedy Violins! I would recommend you to anyone!!
