Lucifer Book Five Review: Excellent finale to a great story. - Very satisfying book. It closes almost all the subplots and although the book leaves you wanting more, it also ends Lucifer's sorry I'm a satisfying way. All in all, a must read like the other for books. Review: The ending. The only ending. - And it's finally over. Vertigo has finally released the last of it's omnibus's for it's Lucifer series. And what a wild ride it has been. The final collection of the Lucifer is loaded with everything the previous volumes used to great effect. Bright, meaningful imagery, highly quotable lines, utterly messed up moral ideas, and awesome battles. But there is also something more. The emotion that comes with saying goodbye to the characters we have come to know and love for the final time. Mike Carey gives us an epilogue to his characters that is satisfying, and not as dragged out as the ending to the Sandman felt. Goodbye Lucifer series. It's been fun. Oh well, time to read the Unwritten.

Satisfying conclusion
This final set of books bring the Lucifer story as imagined to a very satisfying end. Artwork and story superb throughout. Will read again especially to enjoy the art layout and art itself.

Good Read.
I've been reading Lucifer mostly because of the TV series. I like it. I haven't read comic books in a while so its a nice change. The story from the Lucifer TV series and the comic books are wildly different so there's not much story line conflict to rectify. Good read.

a brilliant series all through
It was an incredible journey. Being a Gaiman fan I started it a little worried if it could live up to the Sandman’s world. It did. Waste no time and read it

Damned Amazing!!!
Absolutely enjoyed reading this entire series of books! I honestly started to read them out of boredom from my regular type of fiction books as well as comics. I didn't expect to like Licifer as a book. It's really not anywhere near my typical story i enjoy. But 5 book volumes later I am ecstatic at the fact that I chose to move outside of my norm. This was such an enormous and pleasurable surprise. I recommend it to any that want or need something thought provoking and intensely unpredictable. These characters will be with me always and grateful the opportunity to have gotten a glimpse at them.

This series is soooooooo amazing.... I don't even know what to say about it besides this: If you like comics in any way.... You owe it to yourself to read Sandman and then read Lucifer.... Both are amazing series. Both captivated me like crazy. Book five of Lucifer is THE conclusion we needed! Amazing, amazing series! 6 out of 5 stars!!

The culmination of the pentalogy by Mike Carey. Inspired by the character Lucifer from Neil Gaiman’s epic “Sandman” series, this tells Lucifer’s story after he walks out of Hell a fret ejecting its denizens and locking the gates behind him. This story too is an epic covering many different events and characters. Perfect for fans of Sandman.

Good stuff, interesting take on angels & demons & life in general. Drawings ok-ish, kinda wished 1 really good guy penciled everything A-Z. Can be read again. But 140£ is a load of money and my copy arrived with nicked cover, so try library first
