I did not read the description well. This is a non-hot blend BUT it's really good. The flavor is great, strong, vibrant without any heat which is easily added. Would love to try other flavors

Fruity, great flavor. Mild. If you want heat, you'll have to add something.Bought it for a chicken recipe. It was a winner. Can't wait to experiment with other recipes.

So Delicious & Flavorful Without being Overpowering

Based on the product description and reviews I was expecting something with a floral pepper taste and no heat. It turned out to be distantly pepper tasting and stridently salty based on tasting the raw product on the end of my finger. I have yet to cook with it, but when doing so I will absolutely avoid adding additional salt.
