Coffee Slipper

I have been wearing Halfinger slippers since the 80's and love them. This pair is very cute but I am not certain they are genuine Halfingers. I did not start wearing them right away, but when I did, the traction dots quickly started to wear off. I wear the slippers mostly on a smooth carpeted service. I checked the bottoms of my previous pair and noticed that they did not show wear although I had worn them for years. I did notice the traction dots on the bottom of this pair are much smaller than those of my previous pairs. These slippers are cue and comfortable but now very slippery. I am very disappointed!

These slippers are the best! With my issues (plantar fasciitis, high arches, knee & hip pain), I've been wearing my outside supportive Haflingers in the house but they don't look too cozy with my pj's & riding the couch. I had my doubts after inspecting the arches in these as they don't seem particularly high but decided to give them a try. They are perfect; I don't know how they can be so comfy & flexible & still give support. If I'm inside doing household chores all day, I can wear these & have no pain at night.I do have to remember not to run outside to the mailbox in them as I do want to preserve the wool soles as long as possible. However, I do like how quiet they are inside (we have a lot of tile); I've startled my husband more than once.I've found the wool to be a bit scratchy on the tops of my foot but I always wear Smartwool socks so it isn't an issue.

I have had other pairs of slippers from this company and loved them and they have held up well. This pair was purchased a year ago, only worn indoors in an RV but have literally worn out. The soles have worn through in 2 places on both slippers, the side stitching has come loose on both slippers on both sides of each slipper. For the price this pair has not held up and I will probably not order another pair from this company.

These arrived quickly. The price is pretty high for what you get, but they are exactly what I wanted so I’m OK with it. The soul is very thick wool with printed friction dots on the bottom. The top foot covering is made of soft wool that doesn’t feel scratchy to me. These feel very substantial and I love the coffee print. I wear a women’s size 11 and that’s what I ordered and they fit true to size. These are replacing a worn out pair of 12 year old big box store slippers and I am so happy these are what I chose!

Cute and comfortable initially. They are expensive house SLIPPERS. There is little to no arch support and whatever there is, flattens down in a matter of time. From past experience, they will and DO stretch out. The lightly "rubberized" non-skid soles wear out and loses its effectiveness eventually. They don't lastl very long for the price, but still, here I am on my 3rd pair.

I loved these slippers and wore them for about three months before the stitching between the sole and the top started to break on both slippers. I tried sewing them on my sewing machine unsuccessfully, I tried hand sewing but this was almost impossible with the needles that I had. Then I took them to two shoe repair shops. They don’t have a machine that will sew them either and did say they would hand stitch them for about $40. One of the shops said that I should return them but it’s too late for that, so I decided to just warn people They are deliciously warm until the stitching falls apart and then they are useless and dangerous because you slide in them when your foot isn’t stable inside.

On my third pair. The tricky thing is sizing. I wear a 6.5M shoe. I went down a size. They do stretch out in time. They don't last very long with even at home wear sadly, the "non-skid" nubs on the soles wear down quickly. I still prefer these when I can find a good price. They're the best keepng your feet cozy.

I previously had a pair of these and liked them. I took them on vacation and only made it home we with one. So, I purchased a new pair. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that I have a high instep and it's a little tight on the top of my foot. Hopefully it will stretch out a bit. I have plantar fasciitis and need to wear shoes with good arch support. 15 minutes without shoes and my feet are hurting. These slippers are wonderful to wear in the house and keep my feet from hurting. Great arch support. I would highly recommend these!

These are clearly men's sizes. I gave them to my daughter as she wears a larger size than I do and she loves them. Very comfortable. I bought a different pair of Haflinger slippers that fit me better.

I really like them, although they do fit really big.

Love them! I am a standard size 6 US so I chose this size, but I think I could have taken one size smaller. They turn out to be a little big.

Love the design, comfortable fit and they are durable, I'll be wearing these for a long time!
