This was the Adam Sandler movie that I never knew that I needed to see.It's not me by Happy Madison productions though, And Adam Sandler's just a co-star. So it's not going to be like his typical films.I think he really grew infamous for writing his own scripts and starring in his own films. But there are times and when Sandler can show his more serious side. I'm talking uncut gems, the wedding singer, The cobbler, the Do Over and this film. Definitely one of the more action-packed Adam Sandler films as well.Basically this film is about a guy who's in the public eye and he has his fingers in all the pies. The only reason that nobody finds out about it is because of fact that he kills people to keep the mouths shut.The main character Damon Wayans has been undercover for a little while, And he got Adam Sandler to trust him. Sandler says that he trusts him like a brother. After finding out who is really in charge, The worst happens. Damon Wayans is acting too much like a cop, and Adam Sandler pulls open his shirt just out of the blue to reveal the fact that he's wearing a wire. Big betrayal moment. Sandler accidentally gets hit by something from behind and accidentally shoot Waynes in the head. Friendship instantly shattered.Eventually Sandler gets captured because he wants to rat on his old boss. So Damon Wayans has to go out there and pick him up and bring him back alive. That's not easy to do considering that the big boss has his hands in almost every pie you can think of. Without knowing who to trust, These two former friends Have to somehow find enough trust in one another to get this done.

Super funny and heartfelt. Not for kids

it's really hard to find this movie to watch online for free and when that happens i buy aDVD so i can actually own it rather than just lease it.

A pretty funny action movie. An undercover cop makes friends with a crook to bust him and bigger bad guys. During the bust he shoots the cop in the head on accident. So the cop is very mad but so is the crook for him just pretending to be friends. Well they have to help each other survive the big bad guys hit on them. Lots of action and humor and twist and turns.

Adam sandler is funny.

I've had this on VHS for years. It was time to update to a more reliable format.This movie puts me in a good mood. Adam Sandler put his best foot forward with this comedy. Damon Wayans was believeable as a tough guy/cop. Adam Sandler is a crook because he is too dumb to hold a job "I don't know how to give people butter."Damon Wayans sets him up in an undercover operation to catch a big druglord. The plot takes several turns after Adam shoots him in the head and Damon says repeatedly, "It's my job," and then Adam tells him, "It was an accident." As the story moves on, "It's my job," sounds less and less compelling. Can a friendship last through a headshot, betrayal, and dirty rotten tricks?

Ein gelungener Film der in keiner Sammlung fehlen darf.Damon Wayans und Adam Sandler in einer urkomischen Geschichte über einen Cop, einen Ganoven und eine wunderschöne Freundschaft, die leider in die Brüche gegangen ist. Archie Moses (Adam Sandler) und Rock Keats (Damon Wayans) waren früher unzertrennlich - heute stehen sie auf unterschiedlichen Seiten des Gesetzes, und jeder fühlt sich vom anderen verraten. Der einzige Mensch, der Archie und Rock mehr hasst als die beiden einander, ist der skrupellose Drogenboss Frank Colton (James Caan), der sie unter die Erde bringen will! Durch eine eigenwillige Wendung des Schicksals befinden sich Moses und Keats plötzlich auf der Flucht - zu allem Überfluss auch noch gemeinsam. Mit etwas Glück können sich die beiden Pechvögel aus ihrer misslichen Lage befreien ... wenn sie sich nicht vorher gegenseitig umbringen!

Film eccezionale trama molto lineare, colpi di scena mozzafiato, ottimo film che vi terrà incollati al divano soprattutto per il finale....compratelo non ve ne pentirete!!!!

After losing track of the amount of times my mother asked me to play the hilarious shower scene on youtube, I finally suggested she may like the full film for her birthday. I wasn't wrong. This film is pretty much laugh out loud from start to finish and full of action. The duration only runs around an hour and twenty minutes so the film never lets up and therefore doesn't have a chance to dwell on one scene too long. Adam Sandler and Damon Wayans really are a great pairing and James Caan effortlessly portrays a ruthless drug kingpin. With a cool soundtrack consisting mostly of 90s Hip-Hop and R & B, this is really is an underrated little gem. Blu-Ray wise, I'd say this is a pretty decent upgrade from my previous DVD version and let's face it, you won't get stunning re-mastering clarity from a short action comedy made over 20 years ago. However, the DTS soundtrack is fantastic: The music and action scenes really come to life and that was just on a 10-year old Panasonic 40 inch Flat screen, relying solely on the TV speakers. Definitely worth picking up.
