Color Atlas of Biochemistry 3rd edition, revised and updated

I don't understand why so many science texts are overwrought and redundant. Worst of all, you end up paying premium prices for poor content, circuitous writing, and an inefficient organization of topics. The real coup de grace comes about when instructors recommend student companion texts with a sly wink and a nudge.Fortunately, resources like the 'Color Atlas of Biochemistry' are as affordable as they are efficient and useful. It will prove to be an invaluable reference, study aid, and a more adequate companion text than those offered by the more popular publishers.Far be it from me to suggest that you hurt your instructor's coffers by using this book as a primary source, but it would certainly be a great addition to your library.

what a handy book.. as i parsed it, looked at a few in detail i was stunned at how much information they got in this book, with very useful diagrams as well.. don't expect to learn biochemistry with this book but you will expand and renew what you learned from lenninger..

Excellent and complete book!!! I used this for my animal metabolism class and it helped me A LOT!!! If you use this one plus Harper's Biochem book, you will be covered.

An excellent book. The diagrams and pictures are very elucidative

Covers a large number of topics, with a well laid out format. Straight forward to use and easy to navigate.

Concise and integrated, this review offers the reader insight into the compexity of biochemistry while maintaining readability. Having text to one side and images on the other helps reinforce and connect the concepts.

Il libro è in formato tascabile (o quasi) e conta circa 500 pagine, le immagini sono molto chiare e le spiegazioni esaurienti (per essere un atlante).Ancora non ho avuto modo di studiarlo in modo più approfondito ma a una prima, velocissima lettura sembra davvero un buon prodotto soprattutto come supporto allo studio di una materia vasta e richiedente un certo impegno com'è la biochimica.La spedizione con Amazon Prima, come sempre, è stata velocissima e impeccabile. Il prodotto è arrivato in condizioni ottime.

The content of the book is fine, but this book does not allow the vertical scrolling function on Kindle. If they could fix it, that will be more convenient.
