Does my fit the back up without modifying.

Update (4yr) - Last night the power went out. The battery lasted all of 30 seconds. My original battery made it to year 7 before no longer charging correctly. Not a happy camper. But at $35 I guess I got my money's worth.Switching out my APC - UPS ES 750 (model on back of unit BE750BB) with this replacement battery was very easy. I had read about other replacement batteries not fitting well into the slot in the back of the APC UPS backup. This one fit just fine. No problems what so ever. I shall be back in a few months with an update on performance. For now it works great. I manually cut the power to the unit and it run my computer, router and monitor for about 12 minutes. Which is what it should have lasted for. My monitor is huge and very power hungry. If I had a 19 or 20 inch monitor I would expect it to last for perhaps 20 minutes.I mainly use this because I have very crappy service from my electricity provider. My power flickers or goes out altogether often. At least once a week. This allows me to continue working for the brief period it is off. Usually it is off for just a flicker to as much as 10 minutes. Once I hear the alarm on the union change from "Your power is out" to "My battery is almost dead" I turn off my computer and wonder why I have to pay an electric bill for full price when my power is always going out.

I own and operate a graphic design company in Florida, in what is known as the lightning capital of the world due to our often daily summer storms during the rainy season. We get frequent short brown-outs (drops in electrical energy without actually going totally off) that can cause havoc with our computers. Each computer is protected with an APC BackUPS unit, including the administrative computers, to protect their delicate circuitry and to prevent loss of work due to computers shutting down. What's great about the APC's is that their batteries are replaceable. I recently bought 2 replacement batteries and they're humming along just fine in their APC units. Buying through Amazon.com is FAR cheaper than buying the exact same batteries directly from APC by about half.You know when it's time to replace the battery when the APC unit starts screaming (beeping loudly) at you and a red light comes on. Just get your APC unit's model number (in this case it's BE750BB) from the underside of your unit, then do a search on Amazon for the right battery. It's a snap to pop off a sliding cover of the APC unit, unhook the old battery and connect the new one. No tools are needed and you're good to go for another few years of computer protection.I highly recommend these replacement batteries. It's much cheaper than buying a whole new APC BackUPS, and the batteries should last 3 to 5 years from my own experience.

First of all, my original ES750 has a 12V 12Ah battery (which no longer holds any charge). I saw another replacement battery with only 8Ah, which would have limited the output to 2 third of the original ES750 battery. So, watch out for that one.Now, on to the review.I received my replacement battery unit and have been using it for the last three weeks. I installed it in my ES750 but the battery does not fit well. It is about an inch thicker, so I use regular packing tape to hold the battery and the ES750's cover in place. As a result, my ES750 does not sit evenly on the floor. It sure doesn't look pretty but luckily it is hidden from plain sight.After installation, before first use, I plugged it to the wall in for over a day to fully charge it. I then tested it by disconnecting it from the power outlet and monitoring it from my computer running Windows Server 2008 R2. It appeared that the battery's wear level was already at 20% (with 80% remaining). My server indicated that the battery would last another 34 minutes or so (at 60-70 Watt of power consumption), not including the monitor. That isn't very good, but enough for me to wrap things up, and hope that power would come back on.The battery I received works (kind of) and does not feel hot, but even for an after-market battery that cost $38 (including shipping), this unit could have done much better. So, I would not recommend it...

After four weeks of use this AJC replacement battery has worked well through several power outages in my APC Back-UPS ES BE750BB.BUT I had to use a sharp wood chisel to cut off the 1/16th inch 'ribs' on the side of the battery to make it fit and close the door. AJC shipped it fully charged at 12.8 volts. The 9-year-old APC battery had served extremely well for a long time (it registered 11.8 volts on the multi-meter.) Also congrats to APC for building a fine UPS unit (ES BE750BB stamped on the back) that keeps on ticking through frequent wind-caused power dips and outages here in the winter.Update a year later Dec 2016: I added a star, because even though i needed to shave the 'ribs' on the side of the battery to get it in, this AJC brand battery is keeping its charge well and worked again when the power goes out - or somebody flips the wrong circuit breaker. I just bought another AJC (made in China) 12v battery to go in a different UPS that needed a new batt too, and it fit just fine.

There are multiple APC ES 750 UPS models. If you have a BE750G, this is not the correct replacement battery. In the photo I’ve included, you can see how this replacement battery (on the left) is much larger than the original APC battery. The item description indicates it is a replacement for BE750BB, but it is too large and does not fit the UPS. This is more a review of the seller than the product, as I could not even install it. And to add to the issue, now I have to pay for the return costs, which are almost half of the cost of the item.

The battery does not fit into my APC UPS, even though the model is supposed to be a match. On top of that batteries can't be returned. Waste of money! False advertising!

I purchased this as a replacement battery for my APC Back-UPS ES 750 Master Control.I was disappointed to find that the battery didn't fit... at all.Could be my fault...
