Not made for music studio racks or modular synth racks.
They can be modified with a Drexel or grinder, but cold rolled steel is a pain to work with. The wings on these are too wide to fit a studio rack. The holes don't line up. But its the only set of 4u I could find. They are very nice but for my needs they have to be modified. Bummer.

screws included are NOT 10-32 rack standard
The screws included are NOT 10-32 rack standard. Additionally, the screws are too short for use on the side to mount rails onto a wood rack. Note, however, thay rack screws are commonly NOT INCLUDED WITH RACK RAILS. Thus, though the precept is misleading, the rails are indeed useful 10-32 standard threaded. (I may go with gator rails of yore, however).

Sturdy, wrong bolts
The rails themselves are great. It for some reason came with incompatible screws. Fortunately i have tons of extra but if you don't then this would be a bad surprise. They are too large to fit in the rails

Quality rails!
I've looked at a lot of rail kits, and these are surprisingly great for the size and the price. I know, rack rails - What can you really judge, right? Well, I used to manage data centers, and I've seen some really poor rails used in surprisingly high end racks. There's not always a price to quality ratio that works in a way you'd expect, certainly when you get outside of the "square hole" racks with clip-on bolts. Many of them have nice sharp bits to cut yourself on, some of them can't handle bolts without additional drilling, some don't even have the holes placed correctly or even in a straight line, it's absurd. These have none of these flaws, and are about as nice as you could reasonably expect 4U of rail to be. If you are looking at this odd size, this is probably the kit you want, you will need nothing else outside of maybe a handful of construction screws or similar for mounting them.If you are looking to pair this with something like the tiptop audio eurorack rails - Do it! I'm running that with a 1U mixer as a sort of supplemental setup. Works great - of course, depending on the rest of your enclosure.

Works perfectly, low profile
I installed them just straight onto the racks without side boards. Works great.

Great Price & Construction
They are simple, exactly what they are labeled as, and do everything you wanted them to. They also come with ALL of the screws that you could need. Full set & well made.I have a 4U set along with a 12U set. I'm using the 4U set for a mobile audio rack and they don't budge even one iota. The 12U set is going into my homemade server cabinet.

Cheap diy solution
It takes a little DIY to properly utilize, but other than that it's a solid product. Great way to wall mount something if space is too tight for a rack and you're too cheap for a full vertical wall mount.
