I bought this clock for teaching time in my classroom. I Iove it has quarter hour and half right on the clock, the first day I took to school I hung until time for practice with my small group lesson and the first thing one of my students said, “it’s so much easy to practice with this clock.” My very long running Lakeshore teaching clock was broken into unrepairable pieces. However I don’t miss it at all. This is a very good value, it’s bight enough and colorful enough for students to want to practice even when they don’t want to. We use for real time until it’s time to take off the wall for hands on lesson. I hope to order another one soon to just keep in the Math station.

Seems easy enough to read! 12" ruler next to clock for help in size comparison. The second hand moved at a consistent speed instead of ticking, so it is very silent! Good buy!

Unfortunately, I unpacked it after the return window, I ordered it during the summer for my classroom . The second hand is not attached, so it will not work. So disappointed.Update: I ordered another one of these, because I like the design, but the second one had the exact same defect! This time I met the return deadline, and I will not try again with this item.

I wanted to buy a clock for my daughter so she could practice how to read the time. I bought a different clocks before but when it fell on the carpet floor, it broke. So, I decided to look for another one and saw this. I mounted it on the wall but for some reason, it fell again but the clock is still in tack and works. So, I decided to put on top of her drawer for now until I find a better mounting piece. So, far I am happy with my purchase and love the vibrant colors.

I have a daughter (8) with dyscalulia and clocks just throw her. This clocks makes it so much easier for her. We only have digital clocks around the house but her math lessons use analog. I don’t have batteries in it because I use it as a manipulative for her. I can set the clock to match her math problems and we can get through those problems without tears now.

Got this for my grandson to help him work on telling time! I have it on a wall where I can see it during the day and it has been keeping great time and it’s easy to read from my chair! It’s also very helpful for my grandson and he is getting better at telling time from an analog clock! Every child should be able to tell time from an analog clock!

I feel like in 3rd grade they literally spend 1 day on telling time. Will it even matter with all the digital clocks and cellphones? But hey, I would still like my kid to know how to tell time with a regular clock. So here we are. This clock is a good one with its different colors and the fact that it says 00 on top instead of 60 like other clocks. Is it 12:00 or 12:60... I find that confusing so this is the one I picked. Thanks.

We bought it for the baby's room, and it was great. Nice, colorful, quiet. For about 18 months. Then it started to make a very annoying sound, like a fan working 24/7, quiet but definitely not silent. I wouldn't recommend if you really looking for silent one. I have to admit it took longer for this one to break than the previous one, but if you want it to be silent longer... look elsewhere
