This book is informative and funny. My wife inherited her Mother's 9 year old mini schnauzer. I got her this book for Christmas....she couldn't put it down.

Got this book because we are getting a Miniature Schnauzer. It has been a while since we have had a puppy/dog in our house. I wanted to learn as much as I could about the breed, how to train them in different areas; i. e. crate training, housebreaking, etc. and how to handle different situations. This book covers a lot of information including what kinds of supplies needed and different health issues. It will be a great help when our new family member arrives and in the future. It is very thorough and it should be a must have when bringing a new dog into the household. It arrived promptly and was packaged well. Glad I got it.

OK book, but actual breed-specific information is a tiny part of this book, and 90% is general information that applies to all breeds, but no specific dog. Look through any Terra Nova dog breed book, and you'll find the same.I'm not saying that you should pass on this book, but rather to look for several more - at least one recent one on training, and a comprehensive one on health maintenance and nutrition.

This book gives you some good information about schnauzers. It is a good book to read if you are thinking of getting a schnauzer, you must remember that you should read as many books about this breed before you get one.

This is a wonderful book if you want to know everything you always wanted to know about the breed. I have other books for different breeds made by this company and they are by far the best books ever for getting to know about the breed of dog you have.I would highly recommend this book!

There was a lot of info in this book about mini schnauzers. I have never owned a pure bred before. Great humour, great pictures, but I wished there had been a little bit more about training them. PS I love my schauzer! What a little character!

I've never owned a Miniature Schnauzer and I referenced this book frequently during our puppy's first 6 months of life. I was happy to find that book is highly "breed specific." The text is not a cut and paste from a general dog book then gussied up with pictures of the Miniature Schnauzer. It covers everything from training to grooming. I would have liked to see more detail regarding vaccinations, but overall it's a great resource.

The book was interesting. I learned a lot about the breed and found some useful tips to start from the begining to raise a puppy. Since I'm not interested in dog shows and breeding it had too much information on these matters for my taste.All in all, a pleasant book to read.

Excellent book. Easy to read and understand, funny and informative all at the same time. Always looking forward to open his book.
