My general view, from experience, on Italian home products is: beautiful design, rubbish functionally; however, I keep getting sucked in by the quirky designs - and this was no exception. Unfortunately it also isn't an exception to my aforementioned opinion. Yes, it removes lint very well, has an adjustable head, and a brush for cleaning it; however, otherwise - it's a poor design. Lint has a long way to travel to get into the small collector (on the rear of the white part). In fact, most of it doesn't get that far. After doing only one side of one jumper (which didn't have that many bobbles), the shaver was practically at a stand still; upon taking it apart - I discovered that most of the lint had collected in the 'head' - which is where the motor is - and had all but stopped it from turning. I also discovered that the collector is shorter than the white section, and has a small opening - so unsurprisingly another good portion of the lint had congregated above it. In fact, there was hardly any lint in the collector itself. Cue large amount of mess when taking the thing apart; I also had to run the motor with the white part off - to blow out lint in the 'head'; a lot more came out - more mess. Back to a lint remover that's ugly, but functional, I guess...
