The speakers were plug-and-play; they fit perfectly behind the seat of my daughter's 1976 Chevy K10.

Bought these for my 2002 Toyota Takoma single cab . Was looking for MTX and was disappointed to find that they no longer offered truck speaker boxes so I took a chance on Retro and I'm glad I did . These sound spectacular. Worth the money .

The media could not be loaded. As you know c10’s do not have a lot of space behind seats. This speaker box worked perfectly behind the seats of my c10. Subs worked perfectly fine but tweeters were not good quality. Contacted manufacturer and gentleman who helped said I shouldn’t expect much out of tweeters. I replaced the tweeters with 1inch skar tweeters which fit perfect without any drilling necessary. Overall amazing product but be willing to replace tweeters.

I bought these to replace a set of MTX Road Thunder 10" boxes that had been behind the seat of my truck for 30 years, LOL. They finally gave up the ghost, and since MTX has not manufactured a similar product in decades, I decided to try the Retro Sound R-TB8s. They sound every bit as good if not better than anything I've ever had in this vehicle. Pushing them with a Punch PBR300 and they seem to have plenty of headroom beyond what the amp can give them. Very please with the sound, the quality, the price, and the fit.

I have a retrosound Blue Tooth radio in a classic Oldsmobile. Very impressed with it so far and their customer service is very good. I thoght I would match the radio with this set of speakers, not wanting to cut into the interior. One was defective which I am sure they would have made good on, but they were simply too big behind the front seats.Best thing here was being able to simply return them through Amazon. Retrosound wanted me to send the defective one back for repair.Simply boxed both back up and returned to Amazon fir immediate credit.

I Keep these behind my back row bench seat in my F350. When I am working out in the filed or somewhere I need music, I pull them out and set on roof or bed of truck. I keep about a 10' extra wire coiled up with it, so it's playing while I'm driving around like my normal other speakers, but they allow me to pull them out and enjoy them.
