Great value for the money!
We've had these maybe a year now. They're great for a few streaks or to color the ends but maybe there are better options for whole-head color.Pros- Vivid color & easy to apply on damp hair. Works on mousey-brown hair just fine. Washes off hands and surfaces VERY easily. Washes out of hair with a normal shampooing- sometimes can stick around an extra shampoo or two on light blonde hair.Cons- The comb style makes it hard to apply near the roots. Color rubs off on nearby hair after a bit. Chalk leaves hair feeling very dry & straw-like (all chalks do, imo.) As the comb reaches the end of its time, whole chunks can break off and fall on your bathroom floor and your 7yo doesn't pick it up, so mom gets a red gob stuck in the treads of her shoe and tracks it all over the house, ever wondering why there is "lipstick" everywhere!Tips- Cut and/or file the flash off the edges of the combs to avoid little hairs getting snagged in it. I find it easier to apply when the comb is wet instead of the hair. Inspect the area after your kid "cleans" up her mess. ;)
