Care must be taken when ordering as the protein / calorie positions on the lables switch and it is easy to order the wrong item. They are expensive. they shouldn't be partially consumed and left unrefrigerated as they ferment quickly after opening. The flavors ARE VERY GOOD AND TASTE LIKE A SHAKE. My wife has a poor appetite and these are necessary to supplement her protein and calories, but are very filling and it is difficult to find a good time to use these as a supplement to even small meals.

I don’t use these to gain weight - I use them to live off of for weeks at a time when I have a bad flare up of my Crohn’s Colitis. I have to consume nothing but these along with water, and amazingly, I’m not absolutely sick of them yet. It’s easy to drink, not too thick like some other high calorie shakes, and the flavors are pretty good. I inevitably lose weight while on these, not gain it due to lower calories, but they help me feel good enough to keep working even when I’m weak from blood loss, most likely due to the high vitamin content. Also despite all the funky ingredients my guts tolerate this formula pretty well. YMMV of course as we know with CC what works for one person may not work for another but give these a try if you need to do liquids for a while or just need some extra nutrition to fill the gaps.

I despise the taste of vanilla, strawberry is awful, can’t do the chocolate due to gerd. I need the calories desperately, and I managed to choke down the vanilla for two months before I just couldn’t anymore. Then I saw one of those commercials for flavors you squirt into water. Hey, why not and OH MY GOODNESS! what a base for flavor. It also makes it the consistency of a milkshake and if you leave it for an hour to so, the consistency of a Frosty…yummmmm. Orange makes Creamsicle, Black Cherry is my favorite, Mixed berry is summery and I just tried Blue Raspberry. Now that looks like a Shamrock shake because of the color of the vanilla, but Raspberry and Cream is the taste for sure. Hey if you need the nutrition and want to shake things up a bit, this is the ticket.

It is not a meal replacement but a good source of protein especially for seniors.

This product is ridiculously expensive but buying it from Amazon was cheaper than locally. Too bad wle needed it for a relative who was ill. The product was not covered by our insurance.

For about a decade, I have been underweight, to severely underweight most of the time. There were times when my doctors had me drink this. I tried vegan alternatives, regular diy protein shakes, tried to eat more, and could never gain weight. This was the only thing that helped at the time. I also wasn't as tired thanks to them. I remember a time when it was too tiring to have at least 2-3 meals a day. This helped me get back to normal eating. It took a lot of commitment, but it worked. As for flavor: the vanilla is the best! The Chocolate is pretty good too if you like chocolate. Tip for best taste. Chill it! Keep them in the fridge, and then put it in the freezer for about 10 mins to chill it. Set a timer so you don't forget about it. The times I forgot about it, I let it thaw and it still tasted good. Lastly, they can be used as a smoothie base in a blender if you are really trying to work on meeting nutritional daily goals.
