Hey Guys,I got this radio today and I like it besides that it really doesn't seem to work with Windows 10. The drivers they provide don't seem to work properly. After review it seems the chip they use in the convert doesn't work properly with Windows 10. I had to break out an old Windows XP PC to program this thing. I am guessing that Windows 7 probably would've worked also but I didn't have this OS available. Once we got into the software (simple to use but def not the best) and programmed the unit it was easy to mount. If you try to use this thing without programming it via a PC, good luck! The unit it from China and the program, website, videos, drivers, etc don't work properly all the time. It can take some messing around with the drivers, COM ports, and just the program itself to get it to work. Other than the not so easy programming via a Windows 10 PC the unit is loud and clear and so is the microphone. I personally wish the microphone was a little bigger but that's just my personal preference. Hope this helps!

I actually ordered two of these at the same time with antennas, arrived with one antenna and a spare mount and only one coax.Was going to return it, but decided to keep the second and use it as a Base.Got a TRAM antenna 20' in the air, live on a hill, so up anyway, and he second radio we put in the sons truck.USE it for MURS/GMRS, love that its programmable with CHIRP, works quite well, we're communicating 15 miles base to mobile, on MURS, and 7 to 8 miles on GMRS, audio is okay, times its a bit sparatic but not so sure its not how my son is talking into the mic.Mentioning the MIC, if one gripe, the mic is extremely light, been kinda cheap, but hey its a $60 radio...Spend twice as much and get a TYT TH-8600 if that bothers you...For what it is, its doing exactly what I bought it for, alternative to cells etc for a SHTF system to talk my family....
