great for making cards with !

These worked wonderfully in my home inkjet printer. The paper is matte so there's no smudging. Includes fitted envelopes too and the cards are heavy cardstock that feel like a "greeting card". It does not include a computer template but they're easy enough to find online or create your own depending on the application you prefer. I'm not wasting money on corny store cards ever again, and will be buying more of theses for future Holidays. It's easy, cheap and you get to be creative and personal vs. some canned message or paying an exorbitant amount for some pharmacy to print your designs for you. If you want high-gloss photo paper, the pharmacy prices or more expensive paper may be worth it for you, but these were perfect for me.

With these cards you can create your own greeting, valentine and other occasion cards. The paper is heavy and will look good to your recipient.

I purchased these based on other reviews and I am happy to report that these are so wonderful to work with. I make and sell greeting cards using decoupage technique--these work very well for decoupage. The cards are a crisp, clean white, the foldover crease is crisp and tidy, the card corners are all nicely cut, and these have a professional appearance. They were packaged well and arrived quickly. I wish they came in Ivory or Cream, but they do not--only white. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with these and will be purchasing more!

They printed okay but they are definitely too thin to be classified at greeting cards.

I bought these to draw my own designs for thank you cards, etc. So far I have used acrylic paint, watercolor, pencil, and pen and all work wonderful. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet these would be great for collages and calligraphy also. It is obviously not watercolor paper, so you have to be a little careful with how much liquid you put on it, but it was totally fine for me. When I used paint, the paper curled a little, but I stacked some books on top after it dried and the paper flattened nicely. The envelopes are the right size for mailing (at least where I live) and will not be charged extra. My only complaint is that the envelopes are a little thin, so you can see the card through if you've used bright or dark colors. But overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I tried these out for embossing/debossing with my Silhouette Curio and they came out OK! The paper is thick and smooth, so I had to increase the press of the Curio to its max. But I can see and feel the texture it created. The card thickness is somewhere between heavy paper and a store-bought card - similar to the thickness of a Trader Joe's $1 card. For the price, if you are creating your own designs and want a card with a smooth finish, I think it's a good deal for the cards. The envelopes are a bit translucent and lighter paper though, so the design shows through.

when i first got them, i didn't expect them to be so big! to measure how big the envelopes are by small, medium & large, i'd say they are a medium. the cards are very sturdy! if you're looking for big sturdy cards & envelopes, you should buy this! :)
