Amazing product.

I make tie dyes using this artificial sinew. I previously used a brown sinew and it left yellow stains on some shirts. This white artificial sinew held up well and kept the liquid dye from seeping into the next section as desired. I've had other sinew that fell apart during the batching process, but this one held up well. I've only had the opportunity to use on 2 sets of t-shirts, so I'm still early in the roll. Should anything change, I'll update my review, but so far I am pleased with my purchase.

It is thinner than the flat sinew that I usually use, but I also usually split the flat in half, so this sinew is actually stronger than the half strand that I usually split the flat into. Will be interesting to see how it performs, and I hope I can still break it by hand, when I'm finished pulling by bindings tight~

Definitely not artificial sinew. This is partially waxed thread. It doesn't grab onto itself and is very abrasive. What I received and what is shown in the picture is 2 different products. Notice the smooth strands all going on one direction on their listing vs. an actual piece of heavy thread like what I received. Will be requesting a refund.

Works great for tie dye

It can not be split into thinner threads. I will end up using it to string larger beads

The wax makes the string very sturdy! Lots on the spindle for the price which is great!! This will be a great, strong thread for tye dye!!

Although it’s a nice clean white and seems strong, this is NOT artificial sinew - it is a braided cord about 1mm width. It can’t be split down like sinew can, and reminds me more of the pre-made jewellery cords you can buy. I will find other uses for it because it is good quality, but it’s not sinew.
