AntecP101S SILENT

This is the perfect kind of case for those that are in need of installing plenty of hard disk drives, because it has 8 x 3.5" hard disk bays. I'd suggest this case for server builds rather than gaming, as there isn't as much ventilation as some other E-ATX cases. What I do like a lot about this case is the side panel design. There is a thick cushioned layer on the inside of each panel which helps to reduce vibration noises immensely. The case comes with 4 preinstalled fans. There are 3 at the front and 1 on the rear. It does have a front door, which is magnetic, and can be opened to allow cooler airflow, but is good to reduce the sound of fans when closed. There are 3 mode settings for the built in fan controller switch. You can either have the fans turned off completely or choose from a low and high setting. I personally prefer to have a more selective low to high mode, so I have installed my own fan controller to set a more desired speed, which can be lowered to less than the lowest speed switch that the case has, thus being less noise. The case is very straightforward for installation and is made out of high quality material. I would highly recommend this case for anyone who is looking to build a PC with lots of storage and likes their PC to run quietly.

This, my latest Antec case , resembles all the previous Antec cases with a yet more silent update .The Case is heavy with silent, sporting temperature controlled fans, running in a steel casing lined with silencing material.On the negative side , the screws used to construct the case are definitely cost reduced versions of their excellent predecessors!A further problem , common to all the Antec cases with the PSU at the bottom of the case , is the inability of the PSU cables in reaching the motherboard! Eventually, after much profanities , the CPU power cables just reach the top of the motherboard, but cover some of the peripheral slots in the process!! Antec sort this!When , however, you boot the system .....audio and electrical silence .....ideal for a sound system.

My Antec case was my favorite thing about my last pc build. It was a P280 and felt massive throughout, no tight spots that caused issues. This time I was sure another Antec was the way to go, but Im disappointed.This case is not as good:-The space behind the motherboard is very tight.The area where the sata connectors go to the hd bays is an issue too.... some 90 degree connectors wont fit because of the spacing (if the horizontal bit it too short it hits the metal casing before it slots in).The enclosed psu part is very tight indeed even with a modular psu (it would be helpful if it had removable sides too.The hd "drawers" are plastic and use plastic connector spikes; they do not feel robust. They are not as nice as the P280.The holes for cabling (from back of case to front) had plastic dust barriers in the P280, these are gone in the P101.I certainly wont be considering only Antec cases in my next build.

Hi,bought this to use as a Nas computer. Was going to use noctal 804, but motherboard size put me off as I wanted 3 Full PCI slots, 1 for Video, 1 for 10GB Nic and finally as SAS 8 port car. Fitted with asrock x570 taichi, and now running proxmox, utilising Truenas. Awesome.Online reviews were mixed but I have to say for the price its a cracking case.Someone else did point out that the back cover was quite close and that this pushed on the SATA/SAS connectors, however the drive cages can come out, but in my case I just added 10mm spacers, now perfect.

Le boîtier est parfait, il y a suffisamment de place pour y mettre en face avant un Watercooling ASUS ROG STRIX de 360. Je l'ai choisi car il permet aussi de bénéficier d'un lecteur DVD RW de 5,25 pouces ce qui se fait très rare y compris dans des boîtiers Gaming. La tôlerie est de bonne qualité et les emplacements réservés au disques durs ou SSD sont très bien étudiés car modulables. Le produit est aussi silencieux et on apprécie de pouvoir ouvrir la porte afin de bénéficier des effets lumineux du Watercooling même si ce n'est pas ce que je recherchais en premier.Certes pour des Gamers qui désirent voir les effets lumineux des cartes à l'intérieur ce ne sera pas possible car les côtés sont pleins.

Una caja sólida de fácil acceso y con muchas bahías de disco duro. Todos los formatos incluidos ATX muy silenciosa y buena refrigeración. Llegó en el plazo indicado y el único pero es que metieron la caja dentro de otra de tamaño doble y rellenada con papel, extra grande.

I was in search for a cabinet which has 2 usb 3.0 port along with 2 usb 3.0 ports, an optical drive, fan controls, extra front cover which will be easily openable, without glass window, 3 or more hdd and 2 or more ssd mounting options. No cabinet could fullfill my choice except this one. Though it is an old design cabinet but thankfully fullfill my requirement. Now about the cabinet :1. Very silent2. Very heavy and sturdy build3. Lots of space inside the cabinet4. Well wire management design5. Large sized graphics card can be fittedThose who want classic design high quality cabinet with no compromise on different options without glass window this will be the ultimate choice for them.

Habe dieses Gehäuse aufgrund der Kühlung (Für Platten), den Geräuscharmen Betrieb und nicht zuletzt wegen der Anzahl an möglichen Festplatten für mein Eigenbau-NAS gekauft. Den Preis finde ich voll okay, man bekommt viel Platz, recht schönes Management (auch wenn es besser sein könnte) und ansonsten alles wie beschrieben bzw abgebildet. Bin jetzt aktuell bei 7 HDDs im Einsatz, also noch genug Luft für weitere HDD Upgrades. Der Ein/Aus Schalter ist sehr angenehm zu bedienen und muss nicht tief rein gedrückt werden. Die Platten sind auch spürbar kühler als im Vorgänger Gehäuse, bin begeistert! Preis/Leistung echt nice.

Arrivato puntualmente a casa nel suo imballaggio originario (protetto da polistirolo).Appena aperto si vede subito che è composto da materiali resistenti, alluminio e ferro perlopiù, solo lo sportellino davanti è in plastica (molto resistente).Tutte le parti "apribili" sono rivestite, internamente, con del feltro che permette di attutire i rumori causati delle ventole (non ci si accorge che è acceso se no tramite i led).A proposito di ventole, il case è dotato di 4 ventole da 120 mm ( 3 davanti + 1 dietro) permettendo un buon ricambio d'aria.Sulla parte superiore sono presenti ben 4 porte usb (2 x USB 3.2 + 2 x USB 2.0), jack audio (cuffie e registrazione), tasto reset e accensione e il controller delle ventole.All'interno il case presenta ben 8 contenitori per Hard disk e 2 per SSD mentre l'alimentatore viene posto in un'apposito contenitore, separato da gli altri componenti, posto in basso con la ventola rivolta verso il pavimento (protetta da una retina che non permette alla polvere di entrare).L'acquisto di questo case è un investimento per il futuro, vista la sua grandezza, lo si sfrutta senza problemi in caso di upgrade o di rifacimento di tutto il pc.Soddisfattissimo del prodotto e di averlo comprato!!!!
