Ford Escort RS Cosworth & World Rally Car (Rally Giants) Paperback – December 15, 2008

The book was very good in my opinion. Plenty of rare photos and little bits of technical data that I previously have never seen or heard of. I also own the celica & delta books from the rally giants series. I would rate both of these books higher than the escort book. I think this has most to do with there not being a lot of interesting content for the escort in comparison to the delta & celica. I personally would have enjoyed a deeper emphasis on the cars development, & more development photos. All in all this is a good book for the price.

Product as described, I purchased this as a birthday gift for my brother in law and he said it was very interesting and the pictures were great as you could see what the cars looked like back in the day.

Graham Robson books are top drawer but I bought this book in the hope that there would be many detail photos of the evolution of the cars but it's mainly potted history of the events and results acheived. OK for the price paid on Amazon.

Great book

This book is great to read about the racing history of the Escort RS Cosworth, very rich in details and many "behind the stages" facts. However, I missed more details on the technical side of the car, which were the modifications for racing, what was different and equal to the road car, what this car lagged behind the opponents, etc. Still a good book for a rally enthusiast.
